People in Bangladesh show great interest in growing cabbage as a vegetable. Its overseas export creates substantial foreign exchange flows for the country. Productive cabbage properties resemble the characteristics of a succulent plant. The scattered leaves of the cabbage plant develop into circular clusters when the plant matures at a gradual rate.

🔹The climate for growing cabbage:

A cool-humid climate represents the perfect environment for cabbage growth. The best soil types for cabbage cultivation consist of sandy loam and loam. The perfect pH range for cabbage growth exists between 6 and 6.5. Cabbage development reaches a satisfactory level when grown at temperatures between 10 to 15 degrees Celsius.

🔹Readying the land:

They choose high open areas with light conditions for cabbage cultivation. The planting area needs to be completely prepared one month before sowing. The ground needs both harrowing and good cultivation. The property needs all existing weed plants to be removed.

🔹Planting the cabbage:

Uniform seeding across the entire plot should be completed in this pattern. Plants need to be introduced during afternoon hours for better growth.

🔹Maintaining a cabbage tree:

Water the tree with regular intervals yet keep the water from accumulating at the base of the plant. Regular soil moistening must be maintained while the tree develops it should receive denser plant populations.

As a vegetable cabbage offers outstanding nutrient content. Cabbage serves multiple agricultural functions in numerous countries since it works well as both animal feed and as an ingredient in salad preparation. Local people in Bangladesh use cabbage as a vegetable ingredient. The popularity of this crop will expand through proper use of diversity. The potential of this idea will create multiple new opportunities.

My farm started growing seasonal cabbage during its first year after I took charge. I cleaned and prepared the planting area during the first week of January before we started. The normal schedule for completion spans about fifty days.
