Of course yes, i have planted a lot of different because am a farmer who specializes in planting in different crops such as cassava, maize, groundnuts, yam and many others varieties of crops that are planted in my region, i also involve in the rearing and breeding of different livestock such as goats, pigs, and chicken which i had gain so much experience for the past years i have been into it.

I once planned in starting up a farm that will definitely generates income and food which i was first contemplating on what to plant at the moment i then decided to plant cassava because this particular crop is well grown in my area because of the soil and weather conditions.
Everything started well when i first of all located and cleared the piece of land that i will be using for the farming as well as even hiring a labourer to cultivates the land for me and after that i took out some cassava sterm and planted it, then along the line i losed interest during the rainy season when grasses started growing often due to excessive rainfall then i failed to cleared the grasses around the farm because i was too busy with some other activities at home and my work place which drive out my attention out of the farm that i only check it ones or twice in a week that grasses almost over throne the crops i planted.

When dry season came most of those grasses got dried up and harmattan taking place unfortunately one afternoon i was just at home when i got a call that they is bush burning that has almost enter my farm, immediately i abandoned what i was doing i rush to check if i can be able to control the fire from entering the farm but unluckily for me when i got there the fire has already entered and burnt down the cassava in the farm.
That was how all effort and money i put in the farm wasted because i failed to carry on with the needful which was clearing of the grasses around the farm that would have at least prevented the fire from entering the farm.
So after this incidence i learned my lesson and also gained experience that almost made me quite farming but as time goes on i started learned from my mistake i started again which happens that farming is very good and benefiting profession if only you know what you are doing and the interest you put in it determines the results and output you will get at the end.
Before you start up a farm make sure you are ready and prepared to carry on with the work and always putting effort to in other to gain and have favourable harvest otherwise you will end loosing or having bad harvest.
I have finally come to the end of this amazing contest, Let's me start by appreciating the leadership of this community for the privilege given to participate in this contest which i will like to call one the attention of my fellow steemians @josepha @anthony002 @saintpaul17 to take part in this contest as well.

MODs Comment/Recommendation:
As a farmer, your skills are potential. Planting various crops is very essential and would help when the time is right. I am sure you know exactly what you are doing and sorry for your farm loss, its one of those things, you win and lose that means life is balanced.
