point of view of various types of durian
Musang King is said to be the most delicious durian fruit. In addition to its deliciousness, Musang King Durian has thick, sweet, and legit flesh. So, where does Musang King Durian actually come from?
The popularity of Musang King Durian is considered to be able to compete with Monthong Durian from Thailand, which was previously popular. Durian lovers around the world also admit the deliciousness of Musang King Durian.
It turns out that Musang King Durian comes from Malaysia. In Malaysia, this durian was originally known as mao shan wang which means cat king. In 1990, this variety of durian was first introduced.
It was Tanah Merah District, Kelantan, Malaysia, which was once excited by the emergence of durian trees that produced quality fruit. This variety of durian has thick, soft, slightly bitter sweet yellow ivory, and small, almost flat seeds.
The urban area of Tanah Merah is located along the Kelantan River. Historically, it was once the capital of a kingdom called Chi Tu. The history of the seventh century Chinese Sui Dynasty describes a developed kingdom called Chi Tu (Tanah Merah) in the area now called Kelantan.
Tanah Merah is a land suitable for growing durian. The climate conditions of this area are also considered to support the growth of Durian Musang King. One of the reasons for the high price of Musang King is the limited number of suppliers, while demand is high.
As reported by Durian Musang King Salaman, a Malaysian named Wee Chong Beng registered this durian as a superior durian with the name Raja Kunyit in 1993. The name Raja Kunyit was given because the color of the durian flesh is yellow like turmeric.
However, most people actually call this variety of durian Raja Kunyit Musang King. Why Musang King? Because the location of the parent tree of this durian is close to Gua Musang in Kelantan.
After being registered, Durian Musang King did not take long to become the talk of many people. Fruit farmers in Malaysia flocked to plant Durian Musang King seedlings.
In 2000, the results of the farmers' planting began to bear fruit and were harvested. The harvest produced stable durian quality so that the population of Durian Musang King continued to grow.
The Malaysian Ministry of Agriculture recorded the Durian Musang King variety as the 197th durian variety, so this fruit was given the code D-197.
Durian lovers are willing to pay a high price to buy Durian Musang King, because the quality of this fruit is guaranteed, so it feels like it is worth what is obtained.
