About Me

My name is Janita and I am a Computer Science Student currently in my final year of Bachelors Degree. As a Technology Student , my main goal is to advanced things into technology ,making ease for all of us.

With revolutionary advancements, we are thriving in to many newly developed areas. Not only do we see advancement in Health Care , Industrial , Informative Technology Sector but we see how things are developing and improving on other sectors like agriculture, education , Machinery as well.

With the improving ways of life , food quality is also improving day by day. Just like Artificial Intelligence is taking over a lot of Technology fields, Artificial food and coloring has become a widely use key since ages now.

This development of artificial food has been since ages and not just now. This shows how agriculture has been revolving since ages and what is left is still being taken care of.

Now i will be answering some questions based on my perspective and views . I will talk about how things are actually operated and taken care of in my country.

Explain the social and industrial roles of agriculture in your country, sighting one of the main grown crop?

My country Pakistan has a lot of diverse variety of food , culture and civilization. We are well known for our National Dish which is "Biryani".

People from all around the world come and visit Pakistan , just to have a taste of its diverse cuisines.

Let me tell you, "Biryani" is a dish which is made up of rice . It is basically seasoned rice with different spices and chicken.

Almost every week or two we people make biryani. We have it on various occasions. It is an essential and a Ritual ,here in Pakistan.

This here, Highlights how much we are in need of rice which has a grain which is purely alternative of Wheat. This is the reason why we consume a lot of Wheat each year according to GDP (GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT).

Not only , Is wheat used for making rice but it is used to make a variety of other dishes and snack that we consume daily like biscuits, cereal, All types of Pasta, Snacks, Crackers.

How has this main grown agriproduct helped in reducing poverty and as well promote rural development in your country?

We civilians consume a lot of rice each and every day . Not only is it used for making heavy dishes but it is also used for desserts like Kheer and Zarda which is again a must in any events here.

Other than rice, A lot of other alternative of Wheat like Pasta, biscuits, Crackers are made each and every where.

And I am not talking about Packaged or industry ones. I am talking about the local ones which are sold on shops.

Here in Pakistan you will see many locals selling Wheat preserved local food . They sell crackers, snacks and Papar (Chips) which is entirely made up of wheat. These stalls can be found at any side of the road and in large numbers.

Students and people going through these areas stop to buy snacks from, these people and hence it is a support system for the local people and the rural areas.

What are the main challenges facing your country's top crops (e.g., cocoa, palm, maize, wheat, rice, etc.) in terms of economic impact?

With increasing number of crops, the number of problems also increases. Not only does it become a huge problems but it becomes a challenge to cope wit these problems.

Pakistan has a diverse amount of crops growing each and every year. But the challenges it face are very critical.

As living in Pakistan water scarcity has become a common problem at many areas of Pakistan.
Not only do we need water for survival but for our other needs as well. For agriculture purposes, Water scarcity can be a huge huge problem.

Other than water , climate changes , Poor management can also be some related factors which can cause huge problem for agriculture.
One important factor according to me is Machinery. I think that here, in most areas of Pakistan Agriculture practices are quite weak. Not only are they weak but they are inaccurate and sick to the point that most farmers have to quite and change current fields.

What current or past government initiatives are boosting agricultural productivity in your country?"

Government have taken a lot of measures to improve agriculture. Government have launched a lot of communities and NGO which support and improves crops qualities . Provide pesticides and insecticides to farmers in need. And provide funds and stipends to farmer for there labor and dedication for us.

One of the NGO is National Peasants Coalition Of Pakistan. Which help rural and locals to improve quality and advancement in agriculture. provide them with the required needs .And offer them stipends.

Not only this, but a lot of water issues have been solved. Like, wells and water supplies have been provided in the rural areas to fulfill the needs of farmers and local.

What solutions can enhance agricultural productivity and growth in your country?

As i have already mentioned above , advancement in water measures can truly help a lot with farming needs.
The production of crops requires a lot of water usage which can be solved then. A lot of problems are already linked with water scarcity having a proper water system can solve most of them.

Other than that, Having advancement in the form of machinery can be done to help farmers and save there time.
In this scorching sun, the work which can be solved with machines in seconds is being done by farmers. So , this problem can be handy and useful asset as well.

Proper management of crops can improve agriculture practices which in return can impact farming and agriculture life.
