Weed: This are plant that grows where it is not desired, in a way that it constitute nuisance to crops. The are also called Unwanted Plant. Every farmer dreams is to see their crops growing well, but if the farmer fails to control the weed growth, the chances of a successful crop growth will be reduced seriously because the weed will be competing with the crop for space, sunlight, soul oxygen, etc.
The soil pH: This is the measurement of the degree of acidity or alkalinity of the soil. And through this it reduces the activities of soil micro-organisms, reduces the availability of the soil nutrients which affect the growth of crop.
- Pests: can be described as any organism capable of causing damage to crop plant. And the include rodent, birds and some mammals. Some of they are vectors or carriers of diseases which will reduce the yield of the crop and the quality of the crop.
