Practising a small home garden is a satisfying way of enjoying fresh farm produce. It also provides improved quality air in your environment. All you need to do is Make sure to take care of it by weeding to avoid competition with unwanted plants, watering to keep the soil moist and adding fertilizer if necessary to enhance growth.

This is waterleaf and aloe vera planted in a small garden in my home. It is a young growing plant, and they are doing well. It's been watered every day and am ready to take good care of it to enjoy productive and healthy produce

Waterleaf (Talinum triangulare) is a green vegetable known for its succulent leaves, it's used in preparing various dishes in Africa. It is rich in minerals such as magnesium, calcium, iron and potassium. It's also a source of vitamins such as vitamins A, B and C that support overall well-being.

Waterleaf contains antioxidants that lessen oxidative stress and fight the trigger of some chronic diseases. It is also an immune booster, aids digestion and alleviates gut issues due to its high fibre content.

I use Waterleaf to prepare soups that turn out delicious and nutritious. Planting them in my home will save me the cost of buying them in the market, and I will get them fresh.

Aloe vera is a plant with numerous range of health benefits, especially for digestive health, skin and hair. Its leaves are thick and have a gel-like substance inside. This gel is incorporated into some smoothies and juice making them healthier.

Aloe vera health benefits include oral health, promoting healthy gum, reducing inflammation of joint conditions like arthritis, and aiding in the fast healing of wounds and burns. Adding aloe vera gel to your cream acts as anti-ageing and keeps the skin hydrated due to its antioxidant properties.
