Agriculture is growing of crops and plants which gives you food in output, the food is consumed both by humans and animals. Agriculture is vast program and is beneficial for human survival. It gives you food in raw material which is further processed and cleaned. Some the raw material is processed into packings into which are sold in markets. Pulses and beans are sold as it is, they are in dry form. The other things are processed into other foods in industries and packed into tertiary products which are then transported into shops, then the common people buy it. Some products are converted into babies food and others into animals food.
  • Q: What role have drones (unmanned aerial vehicles) played in modernizing agriculture? Use your country as an example if applicable.

  • Drones have played a vital role in developing agricultural practices. It is an easy method to check the system of agriculture and its growth. The use of humans are limited, the practice is made an easy one, it took a long time for humans to visit all the crops and judge them but drones are easy methods to check the sustainability of the crops.
  • In rice like fields it is the best method to check the water quantity and its growth, because rice fields are filled with water and it is difficult for farmers to walk in the rice field and to judge the growth of it. Moreover, their is also risk of dangerous snakes in the water fields which stay in the sticky mud and can not be judged by the farmers.

  • Further, drones check the quality of soil, fertilizer need, sunlight need and expected crops types which grow on this soil. e.g. it is better way for finding the condition and giving you results quickly rather human data collection and analyzing the crops and land.
  • Q: How do drones contribute to precision and efficiency in agricultural practices? What are the key benefits of using drones in agriculture?

  • Drones fly over the agricultural fields and capture photos of the field, these photos are used to measure the moisture, soil, irrigation system and condition of the crop. Condition involves the health of crop and pests record. Some drones have sensors and radiations which check the quality of things directly. Drones are very efficient and collect data quickly of an area in a lessor time than normal people.

  • Engineering practices can be done when drones take photos of the field, irrigation system can be organized accordingly while measuring the the field height and space.

  • As in the above photo, clicked by drone we can see the boundary of the field separated from the forest. Like this we can set up the irrigation system, boundary of field, area of field, measuring the quantity of food which can be extracted, measurement of the crop collection and more research results.
  • Q: How do drones help manage soil moisture and nutrient levels in crops?

Drones contains spectrum camera and sensors which detect the data of the agricultural field, measures moisture and nutrients distribution of the soil and crop, it also check the pH level of the soil. Resulting in what should the farmer do to control the level of the field to collect optimum output. Fertilizer need is measured and provided.

  • Q: Explain the significance of multispectral and hyperspectral imaging sensors in agricultural drones.

These imaging are used to monitor the crop growth and health. It allows farmers to provide fertilizer when needed and also pesticides when the results are displayed about the pests movement on the crop and also damaging of the crop.

  • Q: How drones help in soil mapping and why is it important for precision farming?

  • Drones help in soil mapping with cameras fixed in it, drones were made to be used as a moving camera, to collect data of many things and also to inspect in security measures, so as like this it can be used to click photos of the soil and provide data of the crop and the field by letting the farmer to precise measurements.

Observations and suggestions:

. Modernization of agriculture has been advancely done through the use of drones. Drones have played a major role in agriculture as food security and sustainability remain in the front buburnerCrop monitoring has become much easier as man hours are conserved and channeled to other tasks. On the other hand, Precision farming also made efficient, giving a drastic reduction of waste during activities.
. Thanks for nicely explaining other task questions, however, you were conversative while elaborating your views.
. Thank you for your shared views. We hope to see more of your entries next time.

Thank you sir for verifying, I am here, Inshallah I will post more contents into this community and include my participation in the growth of the community, when there are more contests so there will be more participation, I love those communities which posts many contests and are easy; not involving tough competitions.
