It's my pleasure to participate in this contest organized by @ruthjoe. Here is my opinion regarding the topic.

Goats are domestic animals that many households in Africa rear for business or consumption in their various homes. Goats have been useful to man in many ways. Goats belong to the family of Bovidae, that's why they are closely related to sheep. Goats have been in existence for thousand years ago and are considered one of the first domesticated animals in the middle East.

The most interesting thing about female goats is that they can give birth twice in a year, but it depends on the goats you breed. Some goat owners may wait for the new kids to be weaned before they can continue breeding the goats. It would be beneficial if we could give the female goats a few extra months so that they can regain the energy they have lost.

Benefits of goats:

• Goats are used by people for land clearing, which is why they are referred to as eating machines. Some individuals may hire companies that rear goats to help them clear the bushes that surround them.

• Their skin is also used for different purposes, such as making leather after it is dried and making drumheads that people use during entertainment.

• Goat meat does not contain cholesterol but is rich in protein, and there milk is very useful for the masses, particularly for soap making and cheese production.

• Another benefit is that they provide extra income for the owners.

Goats are social animals which create a mutual relationship with their owner. Sometimes they will follow their owner from one place to another, and this normally occurs when they are hungry. Goats eat a variety of weeds; they know some weeds that have high nutrients and avoid poisonous ones that may lead to their death. Additionally, they are quick learners who have high intelligence in observing their environment and the most dangerous among them dominate the territory.
