MUSIC AS A FORM OF LIFE
When we hear the word Music, we think about the joy that it gives to our whole body and soul. There is a different kind of joy we derive when listening to music, it's a soul catching moment if we give ourselves to it.
If we are to define music, we can define it as a pleasant sound that is soothing to the hear and is a combination of both melodies and harmony.
Music is happiness and joy in a person's life. In WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE word, and I quote "if music is the food of love, play on, give me excess of it". That's to tell you how soothing music is to the soul and mind.
A person who knows music is a musician. But music is not only what is composed by men and women who knows it but it also exists in nature. For example; the birds singing, the wind blowing, the tress rustling, and the water dancing. On this note I would like to quote one of the greatest musician of time WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART and he said "The music is not in the notes, but in the silence between".
Music is one of the most important craft because it is know all over the world that music has great qualities of healing a person emotionally and mentally, and is also a form a relaxation.
While listening to music one tends to forget all his worries, sorrows and pain. But in order to really appreciate music, we need to know our musical taste, because not everyone likes the same music so we need to know what kind of music we like.
There are different kinds of musical forms in music but I can only tell you the ones I know and they are; Rondo, Strophic, Ternary, and Binary. There are other forms of music but these are the ones I'll state.
For the instruments, there are different kind of instruments that are used to make music sound fine and interesting to the ear. And these instruments include the; Piano, Drums, Violin, Trumpet, Gong, and the ***Guitar****. There are so many instruments that I did not mention but I know you know most of them already and have come across it before.
Music is really interesting, because for me to pick one of the instruments and learn how to play it to form music that's to tell you how interesting and fun music is.
I'll boldly say that music is the essence of life. Everything that's has rhythm has music. For example, our heart beat is a rhythm and therefore music.
