RE: SLC Home Repair Club S23-W2|Recognising and Replacing a faulty Resistor by it's segmented body colour; Identifying my Lamp Faults and Fixing it.

in Steem4Professionals2 days ago

Dear @nsijoro,

I am very happy to see your post. You shared your experience of repairing a broken lamp with us, which will be useful for many.

You have beautifully explained the method of identifying the value of the resistor by its color. Also, the mistakes you mentioned are instructive for many electricians.

However, I would like to give some suggestions to make the post more informative and interesting:

Pictures: If you had added pictures of each step of the repair, the post would have been more understandable.

Video: You only showed the lamp opening in the video. It would have been better if the repair steps were shown in the video.
Detailed description of the problem: You wrote a little about the problem with the lamp at the beginning. It would have been easier for the readers to understand if you described the problem in more detail.

Hopefully, you will share more informative and interesting posts in the future. Your participation as an active member of the Home Repair Club is very valuable to us. We invite you to our club again. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to share them with us.

Best wishes to you.
