The ultimate goal of Bitcoin is world peace, Twitter and Square CEO Jack Dorsey said today, while also acknowledging the outlandishness of his claim.

Super rich influencers making outlandish claims (Is this a euphemism for stupid claims?) is now fashionable and it has become the trademark of some of these influencers.

If someone who is not as rich as him or as influential as him, makes such statements, do you think the press would report him/her? Surely not.

The fact that a super rich guy who is very influential makes such statement provides fodder for the press. It further provides the maker of the statement free publicity, which otherwise would cost them, probably, millions of dollars.

Fodder for the press and free publicity for the influencers and cheap entertainment for the readers! Who said there is no such thing as a free lunch? The only catch is, it is reserved exclusively for the super rich influencers!

That is the world we live in.
