Organic fertilizers vs chemical fertilizers

As a subsistence farmer, I prefer to use that of the organic fertilizers which is also called organic manure, because it is naturally produced from the decayed plant and animal.

Assess the status of your country’s use of chemical fertilizers.

In my assessment the status of my country use of chemical fertilizer is more than that of the organic fertilizers because people don’t really have the time to prepare that of the organic fertilizers.

Explain the advantages and disadvantages of organic fertilizers and chemical fertilizers.

Advantages organic fertilizers this include.

1. It improves the texture and structure of the soil.
2. It regulates the temperature fluctuations in the soil.
3. It improves water conservation in the soil
4. It help returns nutrients to the soil.
5. It encourage the activities of soil organisms

Disadvantages of organic fertilizers include some of the following.

1. It may have adverse effects on the crops, if not properly applied.
2. The process of it fertilizer may lead to the introduction of pathogens to the soil.

Then for the chemical fertilizer, the advantages include.

1. Help to increase the yield of the crops.
2. Improves the structure of the soil.
3. Improves soil aeration.
4. Increase the fertility of the soil.

The disadvantages of chemical fertilizer include some of the following.

1. It provide only short term benefits.
2. It cause environment pollution which affect human health.
3. When use excessive may hardened the soil.

there is a lot of use of chemical fertilizers. How can we reduce this and use organic fertilizers?

By discouraging Bush burning
By encouraging crop rotation
By encouraging fallowing
