The message that COVID-19 brings
The coronavirus arrived as a pandemic that threatens the entire world, the governments of the most powerful countries on the globe are witness to an infection that despite all efforts continues its threatening path without an apparent enemy, all the public and private resources of the world powers have not been enough to control this pandemic.
So what is the message that we should read? What is God trying to tell us through this pandemic? ... Undoubtedly the time of the Lord's Church is this, we must understand the message and transmit it to the world, it is our responsibility to spread the message implicit in the coronavirus.
Jeremiah 49:14 I heard the news that a messenger had been sent from the Lord to the nations, saying, Gather together and come against her, and go up to battle.
The message is divided into four parts:
WE ARE VULNERABLE, THE POWERFUL IS GOD.
Jeremiah 49:15 Behold, I will make you small among the nations, despised among men.
Jeremiah 49:16 Your arrogance deceived you, and the pride of your heart. You who live in caves of rocks, which are at the height of the mountain, even if you raise your nest like an eagle, from there I will bring you down, says Jehovah.
For some time the world powers, the most powerful nations have embarked on a race for supremacy, trying to demonstrate that a nation is capable of dominating the planet by investing large amounts of resources in space, weapons, nuclear, and artificial intelligence programs seeking to satisfy the ego of the rulers.
With all the demonstration of power and economic resources, the coronavirus stripped the world powers showing how vulnerable we are, with all the economic power at the disposal of the great powers, even so this enemy surpassed our capacity to respond, showing that the only ALMIGHTY is God Jehovah of armies.
STOP AND LISTEN TO GOD.
Isaiah 1: 2 Hear ye, heavens, and hear, earth; for Jehovah speaks: I have raised children, and have magnified them, and they have rebelled against me.
Matthew 24:38 For as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark.
Second, GOD wants to be heard; Man exalted himself and rebelled against his creator without paying attention to what he wants to tell us, as in the days of Noah the cities of the world rampaged living life at ease regardless of what the creator thought of our lifestyle .
Today we can see how the great world capitals have become desolate cities due to confinement and the preventive measures recommended by the WHO; God uses the pandemic to tell the world to STOP and listen, quarantine, confinement you must use it as a time where you can hear the voice of God, where you reflect on your life and your relationship with God.
REPENTANCE, HUMBLING AND RECOGNIZING GOD.
2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, upon whom my name is called, humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive your sins, and heal your land.
Zechariah 3: 6-7 And the angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying: Thus says the Lord of hosts: If you walk my ways, and if you keep my ordinance, you also will rule my house, you will also keep my courts, and between these here they will give you place.
The entire world is shocked with the dizzying advance of the pandemic, the authorities have no forceful answers that can stop the spread of the virus; Today a new outbreak is feared in China, there are news that a patient with two strains of the virus was found in Australia, there is a mutation, hospitals in most affected cities do not have the capacity to care for those infected, a vaccine is needed .
This is not a matter of a vaccine, it is a matter of repentance, to the governments of the world the clear message that must come is the message of repentance, the KEY to stop the virus is REPENTANCE, HUMILLARE AND RECOGNIZE GOD, a very difficult task for the "powerful" of the world, their arrogance and their ego.
CHRIST COMES!
Matthew 24: 6-7 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; take heed that you are not troubled, for all this must happen; but it is not the end yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be plagues, and famines, and earthquakes in different places.
Haggai 2: 7 and I will shake all the nations, and the Desire will come from all the nations; And I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts.
Finally, the message that God wants us to understand and spread is that "CHRIST IS COMING". The coronavirus arrived like a plague that indicates that all the Biblical prophecy is having faithful fulfillment; When all these signs are fulfilled then the desired of the nations will come the redeeming CHRIST.
The world with all its knowledge, its power and its economic resources have no valid arguments to deny the existence of God or the truthfulness of the word, all biblical prophecy is fulfilled in full view of all in the age of information, communications , the Internet and all the communication capacities that GOD himself allowed man to create.
