Prayer Time (Abundance; God’s Covenant)

Bible Reading: Psalm 105

Abundance only stem from God. Over time it has been revealed that a man’s labour cannot and has never satisfied his needs.
John 10: 10b says ‘Christ said, he has come to give us life in abundance. Only those in Christ can truly enjoy this abundance. The children of Israel enjoy God’s abundance, there was no time they were in God ways and they suffered lack. God made a covenant with their fathers and God was faithful to his word. The covenant of God brought every provision their way. Despite their rebellion God did everything in his capacity to bring them back to him because of he made covenant with their fathers.
So what covenant governs our life?
We have a covenant of life over us as a believer, What is your own covenant that God has made with you and your generation?

Prayer points

1. Prayer of Thanksgiving for every benefit that God has blessed us with.(Psalm 105: 1-3)
2. Prayer of Thanksgiving for our family and friends.
3. Prayer of Thanksgiving for our Country and the body of Christ.
4. Prayer of Remembrance of God’s promises and prophecy that have not come to pass in your life.
5. The happenings in the life of the children of Israel were consistent with the covenant God made with their fathers (Ps 105: 6-28). Father everything that is not consistent with the word of God and covenant of God in my life let an end come to it.
6. Lord lifts me above every distraction that the enemy is bringing my way that hinders me from serving the Lord. (Ps 105: 45)
7. Father provides every resource that will enhance my worship and commitment to you. (Ps 105: 44-45).

Remember we cannot enjoy abundance if our life is not in alignment with Christ.
