What is Humanitarian services?
Humanitarian services in my own understanding refers to a voluntary or free will activities or efforts targeted at improving the lives of individuals, communities and societies affected by crises or any form of suffering.

How should humanitarian services be rendered and to who?
I personally think that humanitarian services should be rendered in a way that is respectful, effective and sustainable. I'll try to explain each key points. Firstly, when we talk of being respectful, we're talking about honouring a person's policy and opinion. There are people who aren't photogenic and are camera shy so while offering a humanitarian service to them, they consent should be sort after before taking a picture of them and publishing it to the media.
Secondly, talking about the service being effective in my own words means being able to achieve a goal. You know what you're aiming at which in most cases might be improving the target's life. This purpose should be achieved with maximum or minimum resources.
Lastly, being sustainable means being able to maintain a thing for a long time. These are the three main things to consider while rendering a humanitarian services.
Who should humanitarian services be rendered to?
There are lots of people who needs support in one way or the other and I'll list a few of them below.
People with disabilities
Student
Orphans
Widows
Aged women
Communities with erosion, fire break out and bad drainages

Yes, I have. In December to be precise, my organization reached out to the orphanage home and blessed the children with foodstuff, toiletries, clothes and shoes. They were so happy as most of them walked round barefooted, some especially the girls looked unkempt and their environment was dirty. Normally I can't stand the sight of anything disgusting so when we were asked to walk round and see some of the children who were sleeping, I couldn't join my team. I excused myself and waited for them outside.
There are children who has the zeal to become great but are limited because of the environment they find themselves. When I heard most of their stories, I felt emotional. God will see them through and we'd continue to support them in the little way we can.
It has always been my wish you render help in the most possible way I can so visiting the orphanage made me felt fulfilled and I love the experience and looks forward to more.
