Islamabad There is good news for pedestrians.

Residents of Islamabad can take some new trails in addition to the existing six.

The bad news however is that there aren t enough staff to handle them.

Waqar Zakaria a member of the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board IWMB told Dawn that he was working on a PC One and would pass it soon.

Under the plan new trails will be opened and the current situation will improve he said.

At present, the board has less than 30 staff members which is not enough to maintain the existing trails.

Therefore to provide a safe environment for visitors the board must recruit new staff.

Mr Zakaria said staff would be recruited for the new trails
