The Diary Game on The 18th of may 2021, A very Busy Day. Contest held by steem passion.

Good day fellow steemians, I am happy to take out this time to let you know how my activities went on 18th May 2021.

I and my my wife woke up early due to the pains she is having caused by severe athritis, it was so painful that we ould not sleep again as early as 2am in the morning. Thus we stayed awake from then til other neighbors woke in the morning.

We considered the Holy Bible and said our prayers to God, thanking Him for life and asking Him to help my wife cope with the pains. After that, I brushed my teeth, took a big cup of water.

We now went to our Afang leaf farm, which is also called Ukazi in my language, to get some which would be sold at the local market. This leaf can be used to cook various delicious soup like Ukazi with Achara, a specie of elephant grass that is edible, it can also be used in cooking afang soup, which you can add shelled periwinkle to it. Truly, it tastes so good.

After it, we took our bath and ate our breakfast, my wife hesded to jer petty shop while i went to see some hired perso s who were working on my farm.

They had gone to the farm to apply and put manure on my crops and they left very early in the morning for it. They are paid the sum 2000 naira for each day job. Hmm, that is really a big amount of money to pay, but I cannot help it, since I cannot do it by myself due to advancing age.

You can see the lady doing the job with all passion, the faster she does that and finishes it, the better for her.

I stayed a bit to observe if she is doing the apllication well. After watching her for some time, I went to harvest cassava from my farm. This cassava will be sold in the market, to assist us raise some funds for payments to these hired lady. It took quite some few hours and was done with that. I now loaded the bag of cassava 8n my motorbike and headed for home.
On my way going home, I branched at another farm where they were tilling the ground for me for planting. You can see the young man doing his job pretty well.

This type of digging enables the crops to do well and to weather some attacks from certain pests.

After ensuring that he was doing it well, I now headed homek with the cassava I harvested. On getting home I was very tired. I took my lunch and decided to take a nap. The evening and we had our dinner chatted and latter went to bed.
