In the world when there was no hope left, lived Wahab. Wahab was a young man who lived in Yambe. He was a great guy everyone wished they walk with. Even though there was sorrow in their land, he made it look as if, hope is the only thing that kept them living. He was like the star of the town. He gave hope to everyone almost every day. He had nothing though. He was just a lonely farmer in the town.

The land of Yambe was a great town blessed with many things. Their land, riches, minerals, and beautiful women spoke for them. It gave them popularity in the world. With all these things, taken away from them was happiness. It seemed almost everyone was not happy but they didn’t know what was the cost. With the most beautiful woman by the side of the king (His daughter), he was still the unhappiest man in the town. Then we had Wahab in the town.

The king had a daughter. Though the town was blessed with beauty, the king’s daughter was like the star that holds the name of the beautiful women of the town. The way she walked shocked the land. Her appearance alone was a little bit of hope for any man. They will say, “With her as my wife, I think my sorrow might reduce.” She was their crush of Wahab but he had no words to conquer her heart except for her happiness. She was called Nasara.

Wahab loved Nasara. Nasara has never seen Wahab but has heard about his happy stories. The hope he gives people and wishes to meet him one day. Not only did Nasara want to meet him, she considered them as a couple and hoped it happened one day. Her father also was on the lookout to see who that guy was. The two kept searching for the man called Wahab.

Wahab never passed by the king’s house during the day. He goes to the villagers. Gives them the little happiness he could, he shares stories and uses them to create a comedy of their states, and they laugh about them. Before he them move away, he shares a story with them and it keeps them till the next day. The people of the town didn’t know how to let that happiness last for eternity. Wahab was also trying to find a way in their hearts to let them stay happy.
When Wahab is done with the villagers during the day, he then passed by the king’s palace at night. In the darkness, he gives Nasara some vibes. He gives her stories of hope. She sometimes wonders who that was but never has she had the chance to meet that wonderer.

One day, the king sent for Wahab from the villagers. The villagers wanted to see what the king was to do to him. Because that was their source of hope. Wahab together with the villagers approaches the king’s palace. They reached there and the king was pleased to see that Wahab guy they have always been speaking about. But his appearance was not of him. He was dirty and had nothing but he was still hopeful to be happy. The king said to Wahab, “My son, what gives you hope? What is the secret to your heart that always makes you happy? I need an answer to this in 3 days. Come on that day to tell us the secret to happiness and let us banish sorrow from our land.”

Everyone wanted to be happy. with Wahab, all the beautiful ladies wanted to marry him. Wahab only had eyes for Nasara. on the third day, the king gave him, and everyone was at the king’s palace. The beautiful women present surprised the king. The king then whispered into the eyes of his daughter, “All these beauties are here sake of Wahab. Then he might find his wife here.” The king was surprised by his daughter’s reply. She said, “For what, he is mine. If anyone jokes with him, you just have to banish that person.” The king smiled.

Wahab was finally there. Everyone was ready to listen to him. He was smiling as usual. He was the only one showing his teeth. The king was ready to hear from him as everyone. He took the stage and said, “Our part of the world is a tiny part of the bigger space. Do we know if the other part is happy or not? Nothing is certain and we just have to live our lives whiles we keep hoping. One thing brought us to life and that’s the only thing that keeps us living. That’s love. Love is my secret to happiness. When I see the love between people it gives me hope for humanity. It tells me no matter what I will need one day I will get it. Then if that’s the case, what is there to be worried about. I love Nasara.” That brought silence and the king smiled a bit. He then continued, “Yes I do. I come to give her stories every night. When she smiled it gives me hope to refile for a week. I come every day. So, if one day is 7 days refile and I do it every day, when will I not be happy? that’s the hope I’m talking about. She doesn’t know me. Maybe when she gets to know me, she won’t accept me” Then Nasara said to herself, “Who told you I’m not yearning for you too.” Wahab continued, “But what I know is she is my source of happiness and when I see, think or hear her voice, it gives me hope and that that makes me happy. That’s what gives me hope. She is my hope and with her, eternity will be a pleasure for me to be there with her. Because I will never lack happiness. My king, I’m done.”

The town became quiet. No one expected that answer. They had beautiful women yet never thought they could find happiness in them. Wahab then told them what they are blessed with and how they should channel it to be their source of happiness. The king said, “Wahab, my son. I’m honored to have you. The story isn’t something I’m new to but I never thought that was the answer to our problem. I lost my wife years back. That brought sorrow to me. I never thought of giving love a chance again. Today I have learned from a boy in love., I’m pleased. If you would accept it from me, a gift of eternal happiness.” Wahab was confused and asked with a smile, “What do you mean my king?” “I'm marrying my daughter to you. Let her be your happiness for eternity.” Wahab was speechless and all that he could say was, “It would have been an honor, My king.” “Dad, let it be. I want to spend the rest of my life with him.” The Nasara replied. The town was happy this day.

Wahab had succeeded in getting the love of his life. That gave the young men hope to learn to love. They did their best to love and choose their wives from the riches of the beauty of their women. That was the beginning of a new dawn that gave them hope. After the hope, they became happy. Wahab was the talk of the town.
Love is simple of hope. We can’t know the outcome until we let the person know how we feel. Give yourself the chance to love. When you do, you give yourself the chance to be. Life isn’t just about you. When you find love, keep it well and be a source of reference to the outside world.

Wahab had the women of his life. He became the heir to the throne of the village. He was now a great man who was always with the king. the palace made a tent. In the tent, Wahab sits with his wife, while he shares his stories of love with the people. That was how the land of sorrow became the land of love and happiness.
