The diarygame (Monday July 31): Volunteering to clean the kingdom hall
The volunteer work is something I've long awaited. It's not something I ever wanted to miss. The announcement was given one week before the day and I set th alarm so as not to forgot.
My alarm was set to 7:30 am, but I got up at 5:30 am, I think my body is used to getting up at this time, haha. So before 7:30 I was already done preparing my things to for the volunteer work. Are you asking yourself what I volunteered myself to do? Stay calm as I'm about to unveil it! 😊
Kingdom hall
I volunteered myself o help to clean the kingdom hall where we always attend our meetings.
Because Jehovah is a clean God, we always want to keep his house clean as he expects.
In the work everyone is allowed to volunteer themselves to work to make the hall clean. So when it was exactly 8:30 am I was at the hall, but I saw that many has arrived before me. And had already started to work.

So I joined the work. The work involved cutting, trimming and packing the grasses, sweeping and cleaning the furnitures and other maintenance.
I helped in trimming the grasses, and later to pack them.
The work was a lot, but there was also a lot of volunteers and I was happy to be among them

Children, women, young and old ones volunteered in the work and everything was a success. It feels good to work together with everyone to achieve the goal

After we were done cleaning, we were gathered indie the hall and we were given some refreshments. I also took a picture with mt good friend. See below:

Soon we all returned to our various house and so I did too. The rain met me on the way but happily it soon ended an I got home soon.
After freshening up I was happy to est what my mom had already prepared for lunch

After having lunch I went to rest on the bed, Later O took the opportunity to also read. So the whole day I was reading, chatting on the phone, making research till it was time for my dinner and after eating I completed the rest if the day's activities and went to sleep. And that's how a good monday was gone!
Monday's are sit-at-home in this part of Nigeria so we take advantage of this last monday of the month to clean the kingdom hall.
The best part of the day was being able to volunteer in the work at the kingdom hall. How happy I was ro see that I was part of the work. I wasn't going to miss such opportunity!
And I hope to do it again soon!
