I also agree with you that YouTube is the most suitable platform to promote Steemit. Although Twitter is also good.

An idea that I have had for a long time related to this is to provide people with what they are looking for the most on YouTube: "Music".

The music contests that existed previously such as "Steemit Open Mic" helped a lot to promote steemit, since, to participate in the weekly contest, a music video had to be recorded and the first words that the participants had to pronounce was "Steemit Open Mic Week..."
Generally, the participants covered famous songs and this is what YouTube users are looking for the most.
