Introduction

Hi All,

It's a pleasure to be creating an article under this beautiful Community for the first time, let me guest y'all are doing perfectly well in this beautiful community. I'm also honored to be participating in this engagement contest / S1W1 which is talking about Taking Care Of The Planet. So I hope you all will love my entry because I have alot to talk about this since it's my daily routine of taking care of the planet. So without waisting time,

Here goes my entry:,

I am a person that have been constantly taking care of the planet in several ways such as planting of trees, burning of plastics, cleaning of bridges, carrying out sensitization about effects of Pollution to the entire population and so many others

I will begin by explaining how I usually take care of the earth by planting of trees. Probably different species of trees

Planting Of Trees

I always love planting trees because I know the good of planting trees to the ecosystem but generally, we should know that planting of trees is the process of transplanting tree seedlings, which can generally be for Forestry purpose or for Land Reclamation or for Landscaping purpose, it should be noted that all this are important. When planted, they have a lot of contribution to the environment because it improve on the quality air on we are breathing, improv on water and soil preservation, as well as help out wildlife because it provides shelter and protection for them and some eat leafs from the tree.

Why trees are important in protecting the planet is because they Contribute to the fresh air we breathe. We should know that trees take in carbon dioxide in the afternoon and produce the oxygen in the evening during the process of photosynthesis. The oxygen it produces is helpful for human beings and animals

Trees also serve as habitat for births and animals which is very important

How I Planted Trees To Protect the Planet

I have planted so many trees as of now and my recent experience was planting over 10 different species of trees such as flowers, fruits, oranges, Pears, Mangoes Guava and so many others. I carried this activity together with my team members who are working under YEESJA (Youth Empowerment For Economic And Social Justice In Africa) which is an NGO organization. By then, I was working there too

I have also Planted Eucalyptus in a vast land on a hill top in a forest. Together with my friends, we planted over 509 Eucalyptus. On that day, we carried out the planting by digging holes of about 4cm deep then planted the saplings inside the holes then covered a portion of the saplings with soil so that it could protect it from damage or wind

As I earlier said, Tree planting is extremely very important because it protects the plannet in several ways so that we can have a better tomorrow due to good climate which is caused by the trees. Below are some good importance of planting trees

1: Trees act as habitats for many animals and birds,
2: Trees serve as food and protection for so many species
3: We breath with the help of trees that are Planted around us because it filters out the intoxicated air such as sulphur dioxide, carbon dioxide, ozone and so many others then give out pure oxygen which we breathe to survive
4: Trees reduces the effects of flooding and erosion which is beneficiary to the environment

This are just few importance of trees, because it is believe that trees have over hundreds of importance because as regarding to protecting the climate

Cleaning Of The Bridge And Carrying out Sensitization Campaign Against Pollution

Fighting against pollution is very necessary and it's what we all have to do in other to protect our planet

How I Have Help My Community In Fighting Against Pollution

We are the one's responsible in always cleaning the the bridge in our community when ever it need to be cleaned. Just of recent, we had to clean the bridge thoroughly by clearing it's bangs, removing plastic from the bridge and burning then also opening the banks so that water can flow through very easily.

When ever we carry out this activity, it will reduce the level of mosquitoes and ordour which are harmful things to the environment

Planting more trees will Safe our planet from Experiencing global warming. So I urged everyone to plant more trees on their various environment. Involving in activities such as cleaning of bridges, gutter holes will help prevent mosquitoes from always coming to the area. Burning of plastics is the best way of eliminating plastic materials from the surface of the earth which will help safe the planet. So I also urged everyone to always burn all plastic materials instead of dumping them in trashes of pits because they can decompose

Conclusion
