Diary game: a beautiful wedding reception

Greetings all,
This is my first time of attending a wedding that serves food before the wedding can properly begin,
Atleast food

was supposed to be served after the bride and bridegroom have been presented to the public.
Diary game of July 29 2023.

Thinking back to that day was really funny because I was among the caterers serving the food that day and I had alot of encounter with so many people , you know that food has no enemy hahaha🤣,
Anyway let me start from the morning experience so that you can catch the fun with me.

Everyone involved in cooking the ceremony food woke up very early including me because I was part of them though I woke up a little bit late because it was my first time,

I helped them in cutting the garbage, onion and so many things and I also helped them to wash the meat though I couldn't take pictures at that moment so they won't think I was not serious with my work,

At around 11am in the morning everything was set and everyone took their bath and got ready to go for the reception ( we missed the church wedding because of too much work),

I immediately took some pictures of myself wearing our catering uniform, the uniform was only meant for those that will serve food in the occasion,

I joined them in the car then we drove to the hotel where the wedding took place,
It has already been decorated by the decorators and the place looks very amazing and luckily for me, we arrived before everyone so I took that opportunity to video the entire place.

The cake was big and had blue and white color on it, I don't know why the celebrant choose those two colors but I think is awesome but when am ready for my own wedding I think I will use gold and white 🙈.

We quickly got everything set both the buffet and the plates, the foods ,

Oh I forget to tell you, we prepared unto six different foods , we prepared white rice and sauce, jollof rice, fried rice, ukwa( is a traditional food loved by everyone) , vegetable soup, egusi soup, bitter leaf soup,
Our table was really filled was different savoury foods all thanks to the bridegroom.

Not too long the guests started coming and everywhere was filled with happy people,

The mc started welcoming the chair personnels and the main wedding started,

We were shared in groups and ordered to start sharing food to people, people ate and ate to their satisfaction, infact many people were ordering two different foods, many begged me to bring more after eating the second one though I pretended not to hear them 🤫, please don't tell them that I heard them that day hahaha 🤣.

I could remember vividly a young man was disturbing me to bring more food for him anytime he sees me carrying food to another table but I will always tell him that I was coming with his but I will pretend to have forgotten when he ask me again ☺️.

Now it was time to share the cake and I was also Among those that will share the cake, that was another war, some greedy people won't agree that they've eaten cake before rather they will ask you to go round again claiming that their table haven't gotten a cake,

But above all I truly thank God for a successful wedding, everyone ate to their satisfaction and everyone was extremely happy,

I only focused on the food aspect because I was among those sharing the food, all my attention was there, infact I didn't know when the activities took place, because of people's disturbances but I was also fulfilled seeing everyone happy at the end of the day.

After everyone have eaten we started gathering the plates and we got ready to wash them,
Everyone was so tired that it took us some time to start washing the plates with our Last strength and energy.

Now we the caterers were the only people left in the hotel hall and it was already 7 pm, we were waiting for the bus that will carry us home,

The bus came a little bit late and we parked all our belongings inside and it took us straight to the place where we all slept that night,

It was indeed a stressful day for everyone especially me because it was my first time of serving food in such an occasion but I don't think I can forget about it in a hurry,
