Wrinkles on Dimples

It is 80 and one years
That I cried my first cry

I was the sleep that catches every eye
The mosquito that begs not for notice
I was that treasur' that forces smile
On every godammn face
That midnight smile that drives the lads acraze

I was still nothing
But their desires of me was naughty
No night without a call to check
Though none ever sent a cheque
All they did was to peck, just a peck

Shimmering and glimmering all my days
With call and response tendin all men
Men of large or little things under groin
Some with nuts and bolts yet I 'tend
Nuts that never did a baby squirt

From forty
I grew to eighty
And now my size is humpty
But all I saw as naughty
I see and taste like salty

With wrinkles gro'ing on my dimples
All my days are crippled
As men care for no fall'n nipples
I've come to be knuckled
From hair to nail with shackles

I'm 80 and one
Livin' with wealth at sight
Yet with hues my beds are drowned
