It was 2:30pm a sunny Monday afternoon, five classmates Lilian, Victoria, Gloria, Euphemia and Musa the only boy amongst them sat in the faculty's lobby waiting for a lecturer whose class is suppose to start by 2:00pm. They engage in a discussion about the beautiful girls in the class while hoping that the class doesn't hold.

Euphemia: this class have very few beautiful girls

Gloria: that's very true, we don't really have beautiful girls in our class

Victoria: we have few beautiful girls in our class but the few beautiful ones are the most beautiful in the whole school

Euphemia: Lilian! Say something, who do you consider the most beautiful girl in class?

Lilian hates engaging in discussions like this as she considers herself one of the not-beautiful girls in class. She glanced at everyone not wanting anyone to see the fear in her eyes

Lilian: beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder someone you consider not-beautiful could be the most beautiful to Someone else

Musa: yes, Lilian you are very correct. We the boys in the class knows the beautiful ones

Euphemia knows she is beautiful and ceases every opportunity to talk about beauty so that when it all goes down she will be mentioned as one one of the beautiful ones.

Euphemia: I am definitely not one of those beautiful girls

Victoria to Euphemia: we all know you are one of the beautiful ones in class

Lilian bows her head in fear hoping it doesn't get to the point were her name will be mentioned. Although no one has ever told her she is not among the beautiful ones, she knows it and does not want to hear it.

Gloria: Elizabeth, Kaisha, Euphemia, victoria are the most beautiful ones

Musa: Gloria you are wrong, as far as I am concerned and considering the opinion of other boys as this subject has been brought up several times amongst the boys. The most beautiful girl in the class is LILIAN.

Lilian raised her head, she tried to say something but couldn't find the right words, she wanted to say it's not true, she has never felt like this before. she didn't ulter a word

Euphemia: yeah, Lilian is beautiful but she will never admit it.

Victoria: that's true

Lilian thought to herself: I would have never Imagined that Lilian would be mentioned In a place where beauty is discussed. Indeed "BEAUTY LIES IN THE EYES OF THE BEHOLDER"
