My Darling (Poem)
You're in your "teens, especially eight",
And you're sweet.
Men like bees want to,
Taste and tease.
You're like the rum in Zeus's golden cup,
Intoxicating.
Darling, you're a book,
Many would want to read,
But won't complete,
Because they won't stay till the last page.
Darling, you're a blank sheet,
Be careful of men with different inks,
They'll soil your soul.
Darling, you're sweet,
Ants are lurking,
Protect yourself.
Darling, your smile paints my heart with peace and joy,
Like the rose in the garden,
So its red petals are my purity.
Darling, your color Orange,
It's the way you reassure me and respect me,
it's the way, you loved me first, it's the way you touch me tenderly, I think of orange, it's assurance.
In your hands, I feel safe,
Like a baby in the arms of its mother, that's how I feel when I'm with you,
You're precious. My darling.
