If love was a colour
I'd choose a purple outfit every Saturday evening
And when it rains,I'd pull out a grey umbrella
When am happy,yellow butterflies will pass by me
And when am sad it will be a pretty shade of brown
I read somewhere,that tragedy is not glamorous
Though we tend to paint the most alluring pictures
Whenever we feel low,or hear a sad story....
If love was a colour
My favourite will be a mix of white and grey
I've always thought that those are the best shades
And if you listen closely enough,you can really hear their tales
Poetry is all colours and shady drugs
And on this white paper we call love ,the specks of grey paint
Reminds us of our imperfections
Sometimes it breaks us down, sometimes it builds us up
If love was a colour
It would be pills of grey and white
Smoke screens on white pillars,love would be my colour...
