POR QUÉ STEEMIT? / WHY STEEMIT?

Buen día a todos! Espero que estén empezando la semana de una manera maravillosa. En algunos países se que debe estar oscureciendo, pero aquí en Argentina, recién son las 10 de la mañana y hoy es feriado.
Lo que acontece, es el Día de la Soberanía Nacional, que se celebra cada año, el 20 de Noviembre. Por algún motivo, las autoridades decidieron pasarlo a hoy, día lunes.
Por este motivo, estoy bastante relajada, pudiendo escribir una publicación diferente para Steemit, con mi cabeza más fresca y despejada.
Cómo verán, se denomina ¿Por qué Steemit? Mi idea es contarles qué me encanta de #steemit y un poco de qué se trata. Es principalmente para los recién llegados, pero quisiera invitar a todos los CR que compartan esto en sus cuentas de Twitter y Facebook, yo haré lo mismo. Y es que mi idea original era crear una publicación específicamente en estas cuentas para presentar a Steemit a más personas de Argentina. Pero luego pensé que el post debería surgir aquí y ser compartido allí.
Aquí voy:
Qué es Steemit?
Voy a ser muy sencilla en el uso de las palabras, porque no quiero confudirte. Steemit, es una plataforma como Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok. Pero... se trata de una red social monetizada.
Verás que todas ellas tienen el foco puesto en diferentes cosas, como ocurre con los videos en TikTok o las fotos en Instagram.
Steemit, tiene el foco colocado en la escritura. Es lo mismo, pero la idea es que cada cosa que subas contenga una buena explicación, de calidad, para todos los creadores de contenido y lectores que estamos allí.
Claro que en cada publicación hay fotos de paisajes, comidas, películas, viajes, incluso hay videos, pero esto se acompaña de una breve explicación.
¿Esto significa que tenés que escribir 1000 palabras cada vez que publicás? De ninguna manera. Por lo general, 300 palabras son suficientes para que tu contenido sea de calidad.
En Steemit sólo puedo escribir?
No! En esta plataforma hay muchas maneras de moverse:
- Hay una gran cantidad de concursos todas las semanas, que puedes ver a continuación, siguiendo este link.
- Los usuarios comparten de manera constante su contenido, por lo que podés interactuar con ellos.
- Hay un Juego permanente, que se llama The Diary Game (hacé click para ver de qué se trata), en donde podés escribir día a día lo que vas haciendo. Siempre vas a tener personas que te respondan y te sigan.

Qué diferencia ampliamente a Steemit de otras plataformas?
No se trata de un lugar cerrado en donde solo tenés a tu grupo de amigos. Desde el momento en que ingresás a Steemit, podés interactuar con personas de todo el mundo. Leer publicaciones de todos ellos. Y cuando digo todo el mundo, es literalmente el Planeta Tierra completo: tenemos usuarios de Bangladesh, Nigeria, Estados Unidos, India, Indosenia, Argentina, Venezuela, Ukrania, Canadá, Francia y así podría seguir con muchos países más.
Desde que ingresás a Steemit, hay una comunidad para los recién llegados que te guía a lo largo de tu primer tiempo en Steemit, y además hay representantes decada país, que estarán a tu lado para que avances con mayor rapidez.
- Tu contenido es remunerado. En cuanto empezás a participar, se te paga en lo que se denomina Steem Power (esto hace posicionarse mejor a tu cuenta), Steem y Steem Dólar. ¿Qué es esto? Son criptomonedas. En este link podrás ver de qué se trata esto ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre STEEM, Steem Power y Steem Dollars?
Pero... las criptomonedas pueden transformarse en dinero local?
SÍ
Hay plataformas como Binance o Poloniex (hay más), que te permitirán hacer esto.
Ingresar a Steemit es gratis
Así como lo leés. Es totalmente gratis. En ningún momento tenés que pagar nada. Es como Facebook, Twitter, Intagram y cuanta red social se te cruce por la cabeza. La diferencia es que Steemit es más nueva, y quienes estamos comprometidos con la plataforma y comprendemos sus múltiples beneficios, queremos hacerla crecer.
Cómo abrir una cuenta?
Hay tres maneras:
- Hacés el procedimiento de siempre, es decir, ingresas a la página y colocás tu nombre, correo electrónico, teléfono, y esperás para que te autoricen la cuenta.
- Si tenés un amigo dentro de Steemit, podés pedirle que el mismo te abra una cuenta de manera automática.
- Pagás 3 Steem (alrededor de 1,50 dólares) por única vez, pero en realidad ese dinero luego queda en tu cuenta, es decir, pagás, se te abre la cueta de manera automática (sin esperar la autorización), y luego disponés de ese dólar con cincuenta.
Y eso es todo amigos!!

Good day to you all! I hope you are starting the week in a wonderful way. In some countries, I know it must be getting dark, but here in Argentina, it is only 10 am and today is a holiday.
What happens, is the National Sovereignty Day, which is celebrated every year, on November 20th. For some reason, the authorities decided to move it to today, Monday.
That's why, I'm quite relaxed, being able to write a different publication for Steemit today, with my head fresher and clearer.
As you can see, it's called Why Steemit? My idea is to tell you what I love about Steemit and a little bit about what it's about. It is mainly for newcomers, but I would like to invite all CRs to share this on their Twitter and Facebook accounts as well, I'll do the same. My original idea was to create a publication specifically on these accounts to introduce #steemit to more people in Argentina. But then I thought the post should come up here and be shared there.
Here I go:
What is Steemit?
I'm going to be very simple in the use of words because I don't want to confuse you. Steemit is a platform like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok. But... it is a monetized social network.
You'll see that all of them have a focus on different things, like the videos on TikTok or photos on Instagram.
Steemit has a focus on writing. It's the same thing, but the idea is that each thing you upload contains a good, quality explanation for all the content creators and readers that are there.
Of course, in each publication there are photos of landscapes, food, movies, trips, there are even videos, but this is accompanied by a brief explanation.
Does this mean you have to write 1000 words? Not at all. Usually, 300 words are enough to make your content quality.
In Steemit I can only write?
No! On this platform there are many ways to move around:
- There are a lot of contests every week, which you can see below by following the link.
- Users constantly share their content, so you can interact with them.
- There is a permanent game, called The Diary Game (click to see what is it about), where you can write day by day what you are doing. You will always have people answering and following you.

What makes Steemit different from other platforms?
It's not a closed place where you only have your group and friends. From the moment you enter Steemit, you can interact with people from all over the world. Read publications from all of them. And when I say the whole world, it is literally the whole planet Earth: we have users from Bangladesh, Nigeria, United States, India, Indonesia, Argentina, Venezuela, Ukraine, Canada, France, and so on.
Since you enter Steemit, there is a community for newcomers that guides you through your first time on Steemit, and there are also country representatives from each country! They will be by your side to help you progress faster.
Your content is paid for. As soon as you start participating, you are paid in what is called Steem Power (this makes your account better positioned), Steem, and Steem Dollar. What is this? These are cryptocurrencies.
But... can cryptocurrencies be transformed into local money?
YES
There are other platforms like Binance or Poloniex (there are more), which will allow you to do this.
Entering Steemit is free
Just like you read it. It's totally free. At no time do you have to pay anything. It's like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and every other social network you can think of. The difference is that Steemit is newer, and those of us who are committed to the platform and understand its many benefits want to make it grow.
How to open an account?
There are three ways:
- You do the usual procedure, that is, you enter the page and put your name, email, phone, and wait for the account to be authorized.
- If you have a friend within Steemit, you can ask him to open an account for you automatically.
- You pay 3 Steem (about $1.50) for one time, but actually that money is then left in your account. So you pay, the account is opened automatically (without waiting for authorization), and then you have that dollar fifty.
