A better life with Steemit is possible!! A look to 2021

Hello friends !! I leave you something that I've been thinking about the platform that may interest you!

I was recently introducing the platform to a person from Argentina who was in my last volunteering in Spain and who recently opened her account, she is @solichipi and I'm very happy that she's super Argentinian (and above all super porteña, lol), and she joins Steemit .

Finally, after such a long time (a year and a half), someone from Argentina is genuinely interested in the world of blockchains.

I have spoken about this many times, but I'm convinced that in my country there is a spirit of such mistrust and an awareness that a life different from the rest is a utopia, and they are closed to listening.

I tell them cryptocurrencies and they almost raise their hands as a STOP sign, for me to stop talking.

But this time it was different. I had the opportunity to explain face to face how is the creation of publication, reward, votes, I explained about the communities and about markdown. And Sol was interested.

I explained to her a bit how everything works and I told her that Steemit was a huge help for me when I emigrated, because I managed to raise the money I needed to buy tickets.

This made me look back, remember my first steps on the platform, and come to today as Flash, yes, the superhero who flies.

Everything I have learned and continue to learn from this ecosystem is incredible.

Formal and "hard" learning

---

I learned what a blockhain is, what cryptocurrencies are, in my time as a Crypto Academy student, I dabbled in the meaning of DeFi and learned its difference with centralized systems, I immersed myself a little in the world of crypto trading and investment , with the class that Flor (@fendit) gave: "make your cryptocurrencies work for you" (or something like that, I don't exactly remember the title).

I learned how to sell my SBDs, buy Steem, Power Up, transfer my Steem, and other related transactions.

I learned a lot about markdown and design.

At this point, I have to clarify that @fendit has had a fundamental role since she is the one who has taught me a lot of what I currently know about crypto.

Teachings applicable to Steemit and life

I love when I dive into this. I'm going to make a list because it seems clearer to me. Steemit has taught me to:

• Plan my posts
• Understand that when you want something and propose it, you reach it
• Learn from community and teamwork
• Understand that I am a part of a whole ecosystem and that my contribution is worth a lot for the growth of the group
• Firmly commit to something. Steemit was a priority from day 1, and, although after my departure from Argentina, my activity has diminished due to connection difficulties and work hours in the different volunteers or in the teacher training, I always made a place to develop my tasks, even if I had to get up at 4:30 am, literally.
• Learn to set limits. This is a great lesson for my life, since it is difficult for me many times to put a brake, and it happens to me with the subject of plagiarism. I realize that perhaps I try to give more and more instances, when it is something simple and concrete, this is not done, there are two chances and then they are over, period.

Now, in this retrospective look, I see Steemit as a teacher who since mid-2020 has been teaching me incessantly, along with all the users that make it up.

I must admit that my life changed since Steemit entered my life and/or since I entered Steemit. In fact, the experience here is so complete, that today I even have a great friend whom we meet here, while our stories had more points in common than we could have ever imagined (yes @fendit, I'm talking about you <3).

In conclusion, Steemit teaches me about crypto, something that I consider will reign in the short future; It teaches me and allows me to undertake, develops my creativity, allows me to connect.

Today more than ever to the question of ...

Is a better life possible with Steemit?

Es posible una mejor vida con Steemit!! Una mirada hacia el 2021

Hola amigos y amigas!! Les dejo una reflexión sobre la plataforma que creo que puede interesarles!

Recientemente estaba introduciendo la plataforma a una persona de Argentina que estaba en el voluntariado de España y que recientemente ha abierto su cuenta, ella es @solichipi y estoy muy feliz de que una re contra argentina (y encima súper porteña), se sume a Steemit.

Al fin, después de tanto tiempo (un año y medio), alguien de Argentina se interesa genuinamente por el mundo de las blockchains dentro de mi entorno.

Numerosas veces he hablado de esto, pero estoy convencida de que en mi país hay un espíritu de tal desconfianza, y una conciencia de que una vida diferente a la del resto es una utopía, que se cierran a escuchar.

Les digo criptomonedas y les falta sacarme la mano de STOP para que deje de hablar.

Pero esta vez fue diferente. Tuve la oportunidad de explicar cara a cara cómo es el procedimiento de publicación, recompensa, votos, expliqué sobre las comunidades y sobre markdown. Y Sol se interesó.

Le expliqué un poco cómo funciona todo y le comenté que Steemit fue para mi una ayuda enorme al momento de emigrar, porque logré juntar el dinero que me faltaba para comprar los pasajes.

Esto me hizo mirar hacia atrás, recordar mis primeros pasos en la plataforma, y venir hacia el hoy como Flash, sí, el superhéroe que vuela.

Es increíble todo lo que he aprendido y sigo aprendiendo de este ecosistema.

Aprendizajes formales y "duros"

---

Aprendí qué es una blockhain, qué son las criptomonedas, en mi paso como alumna de Crypto Academy, incursioné en el significado de DeFi y aprendí su diferencia con los sistemas centralizados, me sumergí un poco en el mundo del trading y de la inversión de cripto, con la clase que dió Flor (@fendit): "haz que tus criptomonedas trabajen para tí" (o algo así, no recuerdo exactamente el título).

Aprendí a vender mis SBD, a comprar Steem, a hacer Power Up, a transferir mis Steem, y demás transacciones vinculadas con ello.

Aprendí mucho sobre markdown y diseño.

En este punto tengo que aclarar que @fendit ha tenido un rol fundamental, ya que es quien me ha enseñado mucho de lo que se actualmente sobre crypto.

Enseñanzas aplicables a Steemit y a la vida

---

Amo cuando me sumerjo en esto. Voy a hacer un listado, porque me parece más claro. Steemit me ha enseñado a:

• Planificar mis publicaciones
• Comprender que cuando una quiere algo y se lo propone, lo alcanza
• Aprender de trabajo en comunidad y equipo
• Comprender que soy una pieza de un todo, y que mi aporte vale mucho para el crecimiento del conjunto
• Comprometerme firmemente con algo. Steemit fue una prioridad desde el día 1, y, aunque tras mi partida de Argentina mi actividad ha mermado por dificultad de conexión y horarios de trabajo en los diferentes voluntariados o en el instructorado, siempre hice un lugar para desarrollar mis tareas, aunque tuviera que levantarme a las 4:30 am, literalmente.
• Aprender a poner límites. Esto es una gran enseñanza para mi vida, ya que me cuesta muchas veces poner un freno, y me pasa con el tema del plagio. Me doy cuenta que quizás intento dar más y más instancias, cuando es algo simple y concreto, esto no se hace, hay dos chances y después, se terminaron y punto.

Ahora, en esta mirada retrospectiva, veo a Steemit como un maestro que desde mediados del 2020 me viene enseñando incesantemente, junto con todos los usuarios que lo conforman.

Debo reconocer que mi vida cambió desde que Steemit ingresó a mi vida y/o desde que yo entré a Steemit. De hecho, la experiencia aquí dentro es tan completa, que hoy hasta tengo una gran amiga con quien nos encontramos por acá, mientras nuestras historias tenían más puntos en común de lo que jamás hubiéramos imaginado (si @fendit, hablo de vos <3).

En conclusión, Steemit me enseña sobre cripto, algo que considero, reinará en un futuro corto,; me enseña y me permite emprender, desarrolla mi creatividad, me permite conectar.

Hoy más que nunca a la pregunta de...
