Local News - Unknown Gunmen killed 5 military officers - Nigeria [29th September, 2022]

At around 1 pm on Wednesday something very sorrowful occurred in the south eastern part of Nigeria, during their normal patrol 5 military officers of the Nigeria army was killed. This incident In Umuze Town, Orumba North local government area of Anambra state, Nigeria, the military men unknownly drove into a trap made by some unknown gunmen. The military men tired fighting back but the were out numbered and the attack was to sudden leaving them in critical location, so none of the military men survived the attack.
The attack was so sudden that even the citizens were not aware, when I spoke to one eye witness he said that the criminals didn't come in a car. He further said that the dressed like innocent citizens who wants to purchase stuffs from the market as yesterday was the community market day.
This attack happened just after some gunmen was killed when the attempted attacking a senator convoy, so therefore so many believe this is a revenge mission by this evil criminals who destroyed life's and properties of people. The attack also affected so many innocent civilian's in the area, because the were also hit during the attack. Although it was said no civilian died but the civilians were said to have been seriously injured, infact so lost their legs, hands while some broke their bones, indeed it was such a terrible attack .
They story didn't just end there because this incident has left the citizens residing in the area in fear because it for sure the the military won't never let this slide by, the citizens are scared the the military would make a lot of innocent homeless and hungry. In Nigeria there is a terrible tradition of the military, in Nigeria whenever a military man Is killed or ambushed the military revisit the community with full force and range. The military usually arrest and beat up any Young person (male or female) the come across and some cases the burn down houses in that community, something the government or military claims such land or area forcefully.

Infact after the attack so many people started to travel leaving the town Umuze because of the fear of the military, also drivers or travelers started avoiding passing through Umuze to avoid been caught up in the military reinforcements in the town.
This attacks are not new this year because of both political and ethical reasons, this attacks has claimed alot of life's and properties despite the effort the government is putting to catch the boy's.

No sir but Umuze is a neighboring community, infact that where I go to purchase foodstuffs because they have a big Market.
Indeed it's a really sad story, currently as I type, I heard that the Nigeria military men has fully invaded the community, harassing or arresting all male the meet. This has left the community in serious havock and disarray today.

This is very sad to witness and to think this horrible happens in the Daylight speaks unsafe of how the country is.
is it an intentional attack?, because I keep wondering what the beef between the unknown gunmen and the soldiers is, or it is just of a sudden for revenge?
