It is always a beautiful adventure to be able to move from one place and environment to another, it adds to your knowledge of the world, maybe increase your economic status and makes you appreciate many things about nature and variety, it also helps you relax especially when you are on holiday. Most people are eager to make a permanent or temporary move from one country to another especially for the economic benefits, but they make the mistake of not counting the Cost and end up frustrated😠. So today I will be sharing some tips that You will find helpful to consider when deciding to move.

THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN DECIDING TO IMMIGRATE.

  • ENVIRONMENT: If you come from a very cold/warm country and you intend to make a move , what you first consider is the environment, can you adapt easily to the weather condition of the place ? Will it affect your health in anyway? Are there things you can carry to make your start up stay more comfortable? Asking these questions and answering questions about the environment you will be moving to will prevent you from what I like to call "Environmental shock" and help you cope better because you are prepared. Language difference must also be considered, as you will need to understand and be understood in your new environment.

  • COST OF LIVING
This, other than the weather and language is an important factor to consider. Many make the mistake of considering just food cost as cost of living . That's quite Sad, your cost of living consideration should include, house rents and bills, food cost, transportation cost, clothing expenses, medical expenses and emergency budgets.
Many who fail to consider these are often frustrated and stranded in their new environment. Please always consider if you have enough, that you have millions in your currency doesn't mean you have enough to move to a new country, make conversions and be sure you have enough to last at least 3 months without a job,I find that asking people who already live in that environment helps but you need to be careful, while others try to live simple lives and may find it easy to survive others may want to live extravagant livestyles and complain about the cost of living, so try to be more basic and straight forward with your questions, Checking online is also a good step.

  • MAKE YOUR BUDGET
After considering the cost of living, the next thing you should do is have a budget, making a budget before hand helps you not spend beyond your means and prepare your mind for the kind of life you will have to live. It might be interesting to know that you can still run out of funds even when you realized you had enough without a proper budget for everything. Avoid spending on unnecessary items and events and avoid people who do.

  • START SEARCHING FOR ACCOMODATION
If possible get an accomodation before moving from your country, that way you spend less on arrival and you do not fall victim to sleeping outside or paying more for an accomodation. If you can't find an apartment, have a reservation with an hotel or inn.

  • PLAN TO GO WITH YOUR LOCAL MEALS
Food is an essential, but many have different meals they enjoy. If you are someone who can adapt easily to any kind of food no worries, but if you aren't please carrry your native food, you might not find them where you are going or they might be very expensive.
