Succeed At Your Pace

Good day my beloved friends, how are you all doing. Okay so you see that portrait on my wall? I bought it some months back and hanged it on my wall, you need to take a closer look at it so you understand what this means.

I keep tell people every now and then that people are successful at different pace, there is no point trying to compete with others. The main reason I bought that portrait was because, there was a point in my life where I felt nothing was working out for me because I was measuring my success with that of my friend's.

Just like I said before now, I put myself under unnecessary pressure just to reach their level and when I wasn't getting it, I began to see myself as a looser, one who can't live up to society's expectations. This was just my ignorant self and I do ask myself why I needed to do all that.

So one day, I was just strolling in my street, I saw this portrait, at first I was just drawn to it by the graphics but when I read the statement written there, it felt like I was struck by something hard. I wasn't with enough cash with me, so I made a transfer of #4000 Nigerian naira which is about 11.4 steem to the seller then took it back home.

When I got back home, I took a closer look at it, then hanged it near my bed side. Every day I wake up, It will remind me the purpose to which I am hustling, I was relieved of the pressure of trying to measure up, the pressure of trying to live up to the expectations of the society standard.

You need to learn how to be contented with your present wins while pushing forward to get more, success is what you define it to me, personally I have seen success to be something different from what an average man sees it to be and this brings me nothing but peace of mind.

In conclusion, Grow at your own pace, do no be intimidated by the luxury of this world, it will only break you apart and make you loose focus on bigger dreams to achieve, do not limit your vision to the things you see or people's present achievement, the sky can't even be your limit if you keep pushing.
