Happenings in my country
Everyday we keep on hearing news in our area, state, country, today I want you to check out the new development happening in my area☺️.
There are two hotnews happening currently in my country that I will like to share with you which are:
1> recent cost of fuel in my country as at yesterday 19 July
2> the generous offer of our president to us

As at yesterday, 19 of July 2023 the patrol price was increase from 500naira which is approximately 2,631steem to 670naira which is approximately 3,526steem and between the space of yesterday and today transportation fee has also greatly increased,
Before yesterday the Normal transportation fee that we spend to our business area was 200naira but due to the current rise in fuel prices, they transporters has started collecting 400 naira plus the fact that you have to plead with them but nevertheless someone like me will prefer to transport myself on feet rather than pay that amount of money 😜.
Before our new government the fuel price was 230naira which is approximately 1,210 steem but yet people complained not knowing that day's will come when we will purchase patrol at 670 naira per liter but in all is well, we only have to adjust,
This has greatly affected my mum's business because her business requires traveling a very long distance,
The gain she acquired for a day will only be used on transportation but she will also learn to adjust like everyone else or rather change her business
Adjusting has been the biggest and greatest qualities of Nigerians,

Our president, president bola ahmed tinubu has declared that every family in Nigeria will be paid 8000naira which is approximately 42,105 steem as a monthly fee every month until the end of his realm as a compensation for the high increase of fuel since the first day of his regime,
The money will be paid family by family meaning that even if you are twenty in a family or 3 in a family, 8000 will be transferred into the head of the family's account,
This can be very thoughtful of him but in all we would have preferred that the patrol price return to it's normal state before his regime but nevertheless as the president we trust him to take the right decisions,
If he said that removal of fuel subsidy is best for us then we don't have any choice but to follow him as our leader despite the fact that the
monthly palliative hasn't gotten to my neighborhood,

In my humble opinion, the rise in fuel will only increase hunger and corruption, because a hungry person can go to Any extent to secure food without minding any government policies .
In conclusion we plead for the return of fuel subsidy so people can atleast provide food for themselves rather than paying them 8000 per month which might not even be enough for a week feeding of families like mine
