MY TRIP TO AMERICA BY @ VOKEY
Good day to you all my steemit family. I have really come a long way on this platform, with the ups and downs within the short time I have been on this platform and this has really shaped my perspective on a few things for the better.
This is a reminder of the spectacular trip to Boston, Massachusetts in the United States of America. It was a huge feat for me, that's because i love travelling. Traveling to the USA has been one of my dreams, and also the dream of most Nigerians be it young or old. Getting the USA visa from Nigeria isn't really easy, so i consider myself lucky to have one.
Just remembered how i got my visa. Honestly getting a visa to a reputable country like the USA as a Nigerian citizen is not an easy task. I had to be conscious of my steps, the way i acted, my speech, practically everything at the embassy. This makes me see myself as a fortunate individual from Nigeria.
I went on the trip with my mom. She was really helpful in getting me set for the trip though it wasn't as easy as it looks, this is due to the fact that the officials at the airport where very strict, which means you have to be careful so as not to be rejected with the visa.
The main purpose of my visit was to visit my elder sister who schools in the USA at that time and due to distance, we haven't seen ourselves in a long while.

I remember vividly that when i took this picture at the Boston Logan International Airport in the United States, I didn't really understand the concept or the idea at that moment, but a passers-by who was an American citizen made it known to me that I had to spread out my hands so as to make myself look like the letter "T" and that's how this other picture below came about.

This is a picture of my sister who was the main purpose of the visit to the USA. She's the person on the left.
The USA is a nice place for anyone to visit, be it young or old. It has a lot to explore. So so much to do in one country. What can I say?, the USA is a place everyone should aspire to visit.
