Jalan Malioboro - Jl. Malioboro - Sosromenduran, Gedong Tengen, Yogyakarta City, Special Region of Yogyakarta
Hello friends of Steem-Travelers, I hope you are in good health and blessed.
In this post I want to review about the city of Yogyakarta. In the gallery album, I have a number of memorable photos in Yogyakarta that show the nuances of the beauty of the night in the center of Yogyakarta. The city center is better known as the Zero Kilometer point of Yogyakarta, as it is usually called by local people in this area.
This is the Malioboro area, a street name pinned on a street in the capital city of Yogyakarta. Malioboro Street stretches from the city monument to the post office quarter. Malioboro is the name for this area which has long been known since ancient times from generation to generation.
If you have visited Yogyakarta, it is not complete if we visit the Malioboro area. Because Malioboro is not only known as the city center, but the Malioboro area is also a typical icon of Yogyakarta city center. The elegance and beauty of this city area will stand out at night.
If you visit Yogyakarta, you can enjoy lodging at low and affordable prices for all categories. In Yogyakarta there are so many cheap lodgings and we can reach them easily in the city area. In fact, we have established a number of 3-5 star hotels that provide extra services to tourists.
In Malioboro, we have memories that are hard to forget, especially when night falls. When dusk begins to appear, the beginning of real life and the hustle and bustle of the city begins to appear in this area. Dusk is the start of life to enjoy the beauty of the Malioboro area.
At night, this area is always crowded with tourists, both local and foreign tourists. The bustle of city life began to appear before our eyes. The boisterous sound of transportation and human interaction becomes a rhythm and rhythm of its own.
The Malioboro area is as crowded as tourists, especially on weekends. Many of them, including us, spend the evenings on weekends visiting this area. There are those who just take a walk and see the atmosphere, there are also those who visit to shop or enjoy culinary delights in the Malioboro area.
One of the highlights of this area is that, apart from always being visited by many people, this area has classic building designs and local wisdom values. In addition, the atmosphere of the city at night also looks so beautiful that it can spoil the eyes and mood. Meanwhile, for those who like culinary and shopping, this area is the right choice.
In this area, we will find street vendors who open their stalls and lay out mats for their wares in front of the shop terrace. There are various types of products and culinary specialties of Yogyakarta offered in this area. All cafes and stands selling culinary delights were filled with buyers.
For street food enthusiasts, we can find snacks and food with various menus in this area. For example, Gudeg, gudeg is one of the typical foods of Yogyakarta. Meanwhile, those who like shopping can find beautiful batiks in a number of shops that line this Malioboro street.
The night lights and flashing lights of various colors make the atmosphere at night even more beautiful. A number of toy rides are also available in the area, which will make for fun for both children and adults. Every day, the Malioboro area always keeps memories with various fun and exciting stories.
Until late at night, many people are still flocking the paths to explore this area. Not only that, some local singers also often hold their on the street concerts in this area. So, we can listen and see simple music concerts for free in this area.
The beauty of the city certainly cannot be separated from the role of the local government which has succeeded in managing spatial planning and urban development well. Not only that, cultural arts, local wisdom and the hospitality of local residents are the main attraction of the city of Yogyakarta. Visiting this area gives us many lessons about the value of beauty, social and local customs.
That's my post about the Maliboro Street area, hopefully this post can give us education and insight. I still have several other editions about the city of Yogyakarta, follow along and later in the next post.
