It's traveling weekend 😍 One of the World Heritages

Greetings friends, So how are you hope you all are doing well.
It's my first post in this amazing group after being a member.

My sister was faced with an A/L examination. So she wants to relax her mind after the hard exam period. So I suggest going around the amazing town in my area. She agreed! 😋

Galle is the main city in my area. It is a historically valuable place and still, it has ancient beautiful things. Also, Galle is the most attractive city for foreigners.

Here we started our picnic.

The park was filled with people. People could not travel during this pandemic season but now there is a low incidence. So nowadays people travel with their loved ones. It is even happy to see.

I think We were there for one hour. After being there we went to Galle fort.

The earliest historical record of Galle is that of Ptolemy's world map, 125 AD - 150 AD, Greece was a port of trade with the Arab world, China and other countries.

The city of Galle and its fortifications are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The fort belongs to the European tradition and was built during the Portuguese and Dutch eras. The city inside it and the architectural ruins are considered masterpieces. Features of the Portuguese, Dutch and British eras of Sri Lanka can be seen in the Galle Fort. The site was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988.
Also There are so many beautiful places.

OLD DUTCH CHURCH

This Dutch Protestant church is another place that adds to the wonder of Galle Fort, which amazes the world. There are many unique features Of this church.

The bodies of Dutch generals and nobles who died in Sri Lanka about 250 years ago are buried in an underground tunnel at the Dutch Protestant Church in Galle Fort. Built on July 4, 1752, this church has gone down in history as the first Protestant church established by the Dutch in the country.

I think it is important to know this information because Galle fort is a world heritage. 😊

We walked around the fort and took so many photos.

It was the end of our journey. We were tired.☹️ Cuz we walked so far today. 😝🙋‍♀️

So we decided to go to Rio Icecream Galle. 😋😋 My favorite place to buy 🍨 .

So guys we left to come back home.😜 It was so a memorable day and a fun day. I think my sister enjoys the day. We traveled by bus.😄
