The Island of Paradise

Are you grounded in one place? dreaming of wandering around but can't because of the pandemic? Well, let me bring you to the other side of the world through this blog.

As for the background, the Philippines is an archipelago that consists of 7, 641 islands that includes Nalusuan Island, an Island in Olango that is perfect for marine adventures. It is situated on the island of Mactan and Bohol Province. It is in the first list for everyone in island hopping since it ranks at the top of the most beautiful Islands in Visayas Region. Before we can get there, from the Mactan airport just take a ride to any means of transportation that is convenient for you like metered taxi, yellow cab or jeep that can take you to the entrance of Movenpick Hotel. The port where boats for hire were just adjacent to the hotel. The Island lies 30-40 minutes by boat from the port.

This is an Island with a long sand bar and a sanctuary of different kinds of sea creatures and this is the reason for the arrival of tourists. The island was a hectares wide but then reclaimed in order to produce the Nalusuan Island Resort so that the guests can stay conveniently as long as they want. Restaurant was built too for easy access to foods during meals. The good thing with the management with this Island is not just business centered but also aims to promote environmental awareness and livelihood. They provide information for visitors to see the beautiful paradise under the sea that consists of different marine animals for them to be aware of the advantages of the sea resources to the daily lives of locals and that preserving is better than trying to reap all at once in a distructive way.

Summer time is the best time to get an adventure to the Island as weather is favorable. This is from March to June but however even summer you need to check the weather first before going to the Island because usually the boats won't risk to travel during bad weather. My first adventure in this Island was last January 2019 its not a summer yet we are blessed with a fine weather. I have really a great experience chasing the waves, playing with the white sand, dancing under the heat of the sun and hopping from one island to another. To witness the marine animals right under the sea was stunning. It is really nice and tranquil beach indeed. The adventure was really fulfilling and priceless.
