Aaaaaaa, guys.. I must tell you that. I had a real romantic adventure once in my life.

I was dating a man and one day he invited me to go with him to Thailand. Well, such an invitation in itself is already romantic. There are so many interesting things in Thailand for every taste to see: excursions, shopping, exotic food, wonderful beaches and temples. I adore this country, I have already been there several times and I think I will visit it many times more.

I will not describe our entire vacation to you, because this is a very long story, I will only tell you about my Birthday itself. We celebrated it in a very exotic place. We arrived at a lake high in the mountains. Small houses stood on wooden stilts right on the lake. There were boats tied up next to each house. Just think about it: your own boat! Whenever you want, you may untie the boat and go for a ride on the lake.

We drove right into the middle of the lake on our boat. There was utter silence around, and only the singing of exotic birds sometimes broke it.

The water surface was so calm and serene.There were strange trees around the lake, with twisted branches, amazing roots. Unfortunately, words cannot convey all the romance of this picture. When we returned to our small house, it was sunset time.

I dived into the calm surface of water and swam straight towards the sunset, along the luminous water path. I was swimming alone, in a big lake. And this lake was mine at that moment. Completely.

At night, the house made groaning movements and creaked, because it was standing right on the water, and it was necessary to get used to these sounds. I couldn't sleep, it was the night of my birthday. I spent it with the man whom I loved , in an amazing place.I went to the entrance and sat on the porch of the house looking up at the sky. It was dotted with stars. Dozens of stars, and they were so bright.In my country you will not see such a number of stars, never. It looked like real magic!

My beloved person quietly came and sat next to me, hugging me. We were sitting together, in utter silence, looking at the starry sky and I thought at that moment: Is all this happening to me? Is this not a fairy tale?

When we got back to the hotel and came to our room, there was a cake waiting for me. It was a gift from the hotel, from Thailand, from this whole amazing country and people.

Many years have passed but I still remember that romantic trip so vividly. I close my eyes and see it all again.
