It is a historical monument. The language movement of 1952 is an unforgettable event in the history of Bangladesh. It is a pillar built in memory of language martyrs. This architecture has been built in many places in our country as it is a national monument. Artist Hamidur Rahman was the architect of this famous structure. This monument is located in the heart of our city. This Shaheed Minar is located next to Parbatipur Railway Station. It was renovated a few years back. The inclusion of Bengali letters on the monument appeared to be unique.
