We all know that Chandpur is the home of hilsa which is very famous for hilsa. But Mawa ferry ghat in Munshiganj district near Dhaka has been famous for hilsa for food lovers for quite some time. However, as it is within Dhaka and the road system is very good, it is always crowded with tourists.

Various travel lovers and foodies flock to Ferry Ghat, Munshiganj from different parts of Bangladesh to eat Padma Hilsa Vaja. However, not only hilsa fish is available here! Rather, there are various marine species of fish here. It can be thought that it is great fun to fry the fresh hilsa fish caught by the fishermen from the river.
