Happy Songkran Day It is a tradition of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Burma, and ethnic minorities in Vietnam and Yunnan Province of China including Sri Lanka and eastern countries of India It is assumed that. The Songkran tradition is culturally derived from the Holi festival in India. Instead, the Holi festival uses splashes of colour.

For my family's Songkran Day, My family has continued the practice since ancient times, namely family gatherings, where every family will come and pay respect to the elders.

We usually do this twice a year, on New Year's Day in January and Thai New Year's Day in April It is a day to meet and socialize with family.

I feel like this about it. Because it is a culture that we have created since our ancestors and still maintain. We usually prepare it in our own homes, with children and grandchildren inviting their parents, grandparents, older relatives to sit in the designated place. Then pour perfumed water mixed with jasmine flowers is poured over the hands and feet of older relatives. To bring good fortune to ourselves.

What we do is a way of showing respect to our elders and benefactors according to good Thai tradition. April in Thailand is summer. This thing will make us feel cool and happy with family in Songkran Day

We also Pouring water on Buddha at home. To enhance the prestige and prosperity of the family.

After completing the activity. We cooked food to eat together. For that say menu is Rice noodles in fish curry sauce with vegetables.

It's another activity. Cute moments and its simple for our family to do every year. And this we still maintain until now.
