Melted gold among the ice and snow - 100% natural product!
Today, I wanted to share a few shots I made for Golden Hour Photography challenge run by CCH community. This is for the Week #76.
On a recent walk, this winter tree attracted my eyes. Isnt it charming? It was the magic hour that painted it with most attractive colours, but the thing I love most about it - click and watch the image in full detalisation - is its branches. I have no idea what is exactly this tree is... But its branches are remarkable! naked, thin, flexible (maybe it's a willow or a white willow?), they are bizarrely curved - as if the tree is experiencing drama and suffering, as if the tree is stretching out its arms. At least that's how I see it :)
Hope you like it too.
A few more images from my walk.
As you can see, we have snow, ice, and water - altogether at once! The weather is very changeable, it's always spinning around zero, sometimes the temperature changes twice a day. Snow falls - and melts, falls - and melts... it's very difficult to walk, you have to walk slowly so as not to fall because everything is covered with ice - and melting ice covered with water is doubly slippery. My walk was short - I walked on snow... under which there was a 6-centimeter layer of water! My sneakers got wet, and my feet froze. I had to turn towards home quickly so as not to get sick.
But still I've got a few captures that I enjoyed pretty much.
This one (also clickable) I captured thinking about the WoX photo contest run by @mister-omortson - the topic suggested last time was 'Water surface as a Mirror', and any reflections would do the job perfectly. Pretty sadly, I stumbled upon this and processed my photos too late to enter said contest. Ok, let me round up my post here. 😘 Hugs to all who reached this point of my blog, and see you next time!
Best regards
