Saludos amigos de CCS, hoy les comparto unas hermosas tomas del Valle de La Puerta, captadas desde la Escuela de La Lagunita.

Greetings CCS friends, today I am sharing with you some beautiful photos of the La Puerta Valley, captured from the La Lagunita School.

The View

La semana pasada visité por cuestiones de trabajo la población de La Lagunita en Trujillo, Venezuela. Acudí allí, a una reunión en la escuela “Carmen Delia Artigas de Viloria”, con los docentes y estudiantes.
Mientras esperaba a que se iniciara la reunión, me permitieron realizar un recorrido por la escuela. La sorpresa fue la vista que desde la parte de atrás de la institución educativa se tenía del valle de La Puerta, situada a unos 9 kilómetros de donde me encontraba.

Last week I visited the town of La Lagunita in Trujillo, Venezuela for work reasons. I went there to a meeting at the “Carmen Delia Artigas de Viloria” school with the teachers and students.
While I was waiting for the meeting to start, I was allowed to take a tour of the school. The surprise was the view from the back of the educational institution of the La Puerta Valley, located about 9 kilometers from where I was.

The Place

El poblado La Lagunita se encuentra a los pies de la cordillera andina, a una altitud de 2300 metros sobre el nivel del mar (msnm). Desde la Escuela se observa el declive del terreno y hacia el norte se pueden visualizar los poblados de La Flecha y más allá La Puerta, capital de la Parroquia del mismo nombre.

The town of La Lagunita is located at the foot of the Andean mountain range, at an altitude of 2,300 meters above sea level (masl). From the School you can see the slope of the land and to the north you can see the towns of La Flecha and beyond that La Puerta, capital of the Parish of the same name.

Allí donde me encontraba, el viento rompe con fuerza trayendo el frío que recoge en su camino. Pasé unos minutos en deleite total, observando el terreno con sus áreas de cultivo y la progresiva aparición de casas y asentamientos poblados, una vista de la que quiero volver a disfrutar.

Wherever I was, the wind blew hard, bringing with it the cold it picked up on its way. I spent a few minutes in total delight, observing the land with its cultivated areas and the progressive appearance of houses and populated settlements, a view I want to enjoy again.
