Moment Of The Day Photography Challenge - Week 77 | Sinulog
Greetings,
Last January it was a Sinulog celebration. Actually I don't have fun on the flock of people. This time I tried and pushed myself to do it alone. Around 10:00 a.m., I left and rode a jeepney going to the Cathedral Church. It is only the nearest route going to the venue.
After I walked and went to the Sto. Niño Church. There were lots of vendors at sidewalks selling street foods and Sinulog accessories. I bought the native hat and used it. It was 50 pesos (5.12 STEEM). It was great protection for the heat of the sun. I also drank lot of water to protect from dehydration and heat stroke.
I continued walking in a dense crowd and at a very slow pace. Until I reached the Church, It was overloaded with devotees. I stand by and listen to the priest's mass. I listened to liturgy and Gloria.I felt enlightened and relieved. Sto. Niño Festival is not only a feast, street dancing, but also a time for devotion to baby Jesus.
After I looked for food to eat. I ordered the takoyaki and paid 100 pesos ( 10.27 STEEM). It was tasty and sweet . My visit was not completed this year 2025. But it was a great and learned experience.
I look forward to 2026 Sinulog. Hopefully, I can make a great plan for the celebration. Maybe not alone. A flock could be enjoying.
Thank you.
