I hope you all have a good start of the week; today I will share with you some photos that I captured in my garden these days; I hope you like them. I am going to start with this flower that has a rather slow process since it took several days to open; at the beginning it brings the petals rolled up while the center can be seen with a caramel appearance, then it opens its petals and in the center come out as a small yellow flowers; but the most interesting or rather, the most intriguing thing is that it does not attract insects despite its striking appearance.
On the other hand these others are quite small and it is very difficult to observe them with the naked eye; they are basil flowers, these are similar to orchids only that they are totally white. In this opportunity I am observing the plant since a few months ago I had one and after it bloomed it dried up and died, by chance I did nothing with the pot and after several months the seeds that were left there began to sprout.
There are many species of wasps that walk around here in search of food; from those that hunt caterpillars to those that only look for nectar, but there are days when you can only see a few like this one, which are very small and quiet.
Ladybugs are one of the most predominant insects in this garden, but they are so restless that very few times it is possible to take a photograph that can be shown because as soon as they feel me approaching they fly away.
Flies are very frequent and more so when I have remains of fruits and vegetables in the process of decomposition but you must occasionally see other species of flies that I have not seen before; the first one is the common one but the other two are quite strange.
The grasshoppers also reproduce in numbers; the last few days it has rained a lot due to the series of storms that are happening so there are totally cloudy days but at times it is sunny and that benefits all the insects because there is enough food for them.
To finish I show you this mantis that went unnoticed for a while while I was taking pictures and I didn't realize it was next to me until another insect approached it and this reaction. I bid you a fond farewell and hope you have a nice day, afternoon or evening depending on where you are.

Espero todos tengan un buen inicio de semana; hoy les compartiré algunas fotos que capture en mi jardín en estos días; espero les gusten. Voy a comenzar con esta flor que tiene un proceso bastante lento ya que duro varios días en abrir; al principio trae los pétalos enrollados mientras que el centro se puede ver con una apariencia acaramelada, luego abre sus pétalos y en el centro salen como unas pequeñas flores amarillas; pero lo más interesante o mejor dicho, lo más intrigante es que no atrae a los insectos a pesar de su apariencia tan llamativa.
En cambio estas otras son bastante pequeñas y cuesta mucho observarlas a simple vista; son flores de albahaca, estas tienen parecido a las orquídeas solo que son totalmente blancas. En esta oportunidad estoy observando la planta ya que hace unos meses tenía una y después que floreció se secó y murió, casualmente no hice nada con la maseta y después de varios meses comenzaron a brotar las semillas que allí quedaron.
Las especies de avispas que pasean por aquí en busca de alimento son muchas; desde las que cazan orugas hasta las que solo buscan néctar pero hay días que solo se pueden ver algunas como esta que son muy pequeñas y tranquilas.
Las mariquitas es uno de los insectos que más predomina en este jardín solo que son tan inquietas que muy pocas veces se logra sacar una fotografía que se pueda mostrar ya que apenas sienten que me acerco salen volando.
Las moscas son muy frecuentes y más cuando tengo restos de frutas y verduras en proceso de descomposición pero debes en cuando logro ver otras especies de moscas que no había visto con anterioridad; la primera es la común pero las otras dos son bastante extrañas.
Los saltamontes también se reproducen en cantidades; los últimos días ha llovido muchísimo debido a la serie de tormentas que están pasando por lo que hay días totalmente nublados pero por momentos hace sol y eso beneficia mucho a todos los insectos ya que para ellos hay suficiente comida.
Para terminar les muestro esta mantis que pasó inadvertida un buen rato mientras estuve sacando fotografías y no me percate que estaba a mi lado hasta que otro insecto se le acerco y esta reacción. Me despido con mucho cariño y espero tengan un lindo día, tarde o noche según donde se encuentren.
