CCS Contest April Theme "Beauty of Nature": Flowers DE/ENG

Es war ein wunderschöner Frühlingstag am 13. Mai 2023, als ich mich auf einen Spaziergang durch den Park machte. Die Bäume waren voller Blüten und die Vögel zwitscherten fröhlich. Bei meinem Spaziergang entdeckte ich eine Stockente, die gerade ihr Nest am Ufer des Sees gebaut hatte. Ich beobachtete sie eine Weile und war fasziniert von ihrer Schönheit und Eleganz.

Als ich weiterging, fiel mir eine wunderschöne Tulpe auf, die Fontainebleau genannt wurde. Sie hatte spektakuläre pink-weiße Blütenblätter und stand in voller Pracht auf einem Blaukissen Violet Blumenbeet.
Blaukissen Violet war eine blühende Staude, die lila Blüten hatte. Also recherchierte ich und erfuhr, dass sie aus Südeuropa stammt. In Deutschland wird sie auch als Polster-Steinbrech bezeichnet.

Rhododendron impeditum	Ramapo

Ich war noch nicht fertig mit meinen Entdeckungen, denn ich sah einen Rhododendron impeditum 'Ramapo'. Dies war eine Sorte, die aus Nordamerika stammt und wunderschöne dunkelblaue Blüten hat. In Deutschland wird sie auch als Zwerg-Rhododendron bezeichnet. Er war so hübsch, dass ich ihn einfach fotografieren musste, um es mit meinen Blog-Lesern zu teilen.

Pelargonium deep red

Etwas weiter stand eine Pelargonium deep red. Diese war eine kräftig rote Geranienart, die besonders in hängenden Körben oder Töpfen beliebt ist. Ursprünglich kommt sie aus Südafrika und ist auch als Storchschnabel bekannt.

Phlox 'Red Admiral'

Als ich weiterging, sah ich Phlox 'Red Admiral'. Die Pflanze hatte leuchtend rote Blüten und war sehr imposant. Phlox kommt aus Nordamerika und ist in Deutschland auch als Floks bekannt.

Mein Spaziergang war ein wahrer Erfolg, ich entdeckte viele Pflanzen. Mit den Mitgliedern vom CCS Blogs wollte ich meine Entdeckungen teilen und ihnen die Herkunft und die Mitteilen können.

It was a beautiful spring day on May 13, 2023 when I went for a walk through the park. The trees were full of blossoms and the birds chirped happily. On my walk, I spotted a mallard that had just built its nest on the shore of the lake. I watched her for a while and was fascinated by her beauty and elegance.

As I walked on, I noticed a beautiful tulip called the Fontainebleau. It had spectacular pink and white petals and stood in all its glory on a blue cushion violet flower bed.
Bluecushion Violet was a flowering perennial that had lilac flowers. So I did some research and found out that she is from southern Europe. In Germany it is also known as a cushion saxifrage.

Rhododendron impeditum	Ramapo

I wasn't finished with my discoveries, because I saw a Rhododendron impeditum 'Ramapo'. This was a strain native to North America and has beautiful dark blue flowers. In Germany it is also known as the dwarf rhododendron. He was so pretty I just had to take a picture of him to share with my blog readers.

Pelargonium deep red

A little further stood a Pelargonium deep red. This was a bright red variety of geranium that is particularly popular in hanging baskets or pots. It originally comes from South Africa and is also known as cranesbill.

Phlox 'Red Admiral'

As I walked along I saw Phlox 'Red Admiral'. The plant had bright red flowers and was very impressive. Phlox comes from North America and is also known as Floks in Germany.

My walk was a real success, I discovered many plants. With the members of the CCS blogs I wanted to share my discoveries and be able to tell them the origin and the information.
