Bir yakınımızın oğlunun evliliği için davetli olduğumuz düğüne katılım sağlamak gerektiğinden geçtiğimiz günlerde Elbistan’a gittik.

Elbistan Kahramanmaraş iline bağlı bir ilçedir ve Ceyhan Nehri'nin kenarında yer almaktadır. Elbistan, tarihi ve doğal güzellikleriyle ünlü bir ilçe olarak bilinmektedir. Ceyhan Nehri'nin bu bölgeden geçmesi, Elbistan'ın tarım ve sulama açısından verimli bir bölge olmasını sağlamaktadır. Nehir, Elbistan'a ve çevresine su temin etmekte ve tarım faaliyetlerine katkı sağlamaktadır.

Düğün günü Elbistan’a vardık.Düğün evi bir hayli kalabalıktı.Ev sahibi önce toplu olarak gelen misafirlere yemek ikram etti.Eskiden düğün yemekleri ev sahibi tarafından hazırlanıyordu ama artık o da yapılmıyor.Yemek şirketi ile yemekler dağıtıldı yedik.
Ardından herkes aracına bindi ve düğün salonuna gidildi.Düğün sonrası adettenmiş tekrar damadın evine gidildi ve gece çiğ köfte ikram edildi herkes çiğ köfte yedi ayran içti .Tabiki çiğ köfte yine yemek şirketi tarafından dağıtıldı.

Ardından bir yakınımızın evinde kaldık.
Sabah yorgun olduğumuzdan dolayı biraz geç uyandık.Şehri gezmek için 1 gün daha kalmaya karar verdik.Kahvaltı sonrası bir şehir turu yapalım dedik.
Hatırlarsanız 06.Şubat depreminin merkezi olan yer burasıydı.Daha öncede buraya akraba ziyareti için gelmiştim şehir bambaşka güzeldi.Şu an için aynı şeyi söyleyemeceğim.Deprem Elbistan çarşısını yıkmış diyebilirim.Binalar yıkılmış çarşı konteyner kent haline gelmiş.İşyerleri konteynerde hayatına devam etmeye çalışıyor.
Her yerde bina yıkımı olduğu için havası da maalesef tozdan dolayı temiz değildi.

Ceyhan nehrinin bulunduğu alanı da gezelim dedik.
Ceyhan Nehri, Türkiye'nin güneyinden doğan ve Akdeniz'e dökülen önemli bir nehirdir. Nehir, Toros Dağları'ndan kaynaklanır ve 509 km uzunluğundadır. Nehir üzerinde Eskişehir, Adana ve Osmaniye gibi önemli şehirler bulunmaktadır.

Maalesef ki burayı da istediğimiz gibi bulamadık..
Nehir bakımsız kalmış.

Akşamda burada meşhur olan tatlı su balığı yemeğe götürdüler bizi.Tesis çok güzeldi.Yemeklerde güzeldi.
Ertesi gün evimize geri döndük.

Hello Everyone We went to Elbistan to reach the place where we were staying, where we were invited for a relative's environment.

Elbistan is a district of Kahramanmaraş province and is located on the banks of the Ceyhan River. Elbistan is known as a district famous for its historical and natural beauties. The presence of the Ceyhan River in the region makes Elbistan a productive region in terms of agriculture and irrigation. The river provides water to Elbistan and its surroundings and contributes to agricultural activities.

We arrived in Elbistan on the wedding day. The wedding house was quite crowded. The host first served food to the guests who came together. In the past, wedding meals were prepared by the host, but that is no longer done. Meals were distributed in the neighborhoods by a catering company.
Now everyone got in their vehicles and went to the wedding hall. After the wedding, as is customary, they went back to the groom's house and everyone ate raw meatballs and drank ayran. Of course, the raw meatballs were again distributed by the catering company.

Then he stayed at a relative's house.
We arrived a little late in the morning because we were tired. We decided to stay for another day to tour the city. After breakfast, we decided to do an annual city tour.
The place that was the center of the February 6 earthquake was separated. I had come here before to visit relatives, the city was completely different and beautiful. I can't say the same thing for now. The earthquake may have destroyed the Elbistan bazaar. The buildings were destroyed and the bazaar became a container city. Businesses are trying to continue their lives in containers.
Since there was building destruction everywhere, the air was unfortunately not clean due to dust.

We decided to visit the area where the Ceyhan River is located.
The Ceyhan River is an important river that flows into the Mediterranean Sea and is located in Turkey. The river leaves the Taurus Mountains and is 509 km long. There are important cities such as Eskişehir, Adana and Osmaniye on the river.

Unfortunately, we could not find anything here. The river was neglected.

In the evening, they took us to the famous freshwater fish cheese here. The facility was very nice. The food was also nice.
We went back home the next day.
