Herkes iyi mi?Ben haftasonu Gaziantep iline yaptığım gezimi sizinle paylaşmak istiyorum.
Gaziantep, Türkiye'nin Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nde yer alan bir şehirdir. Nüfus bakımından Gaziantep, Türkiye'nin en kalabalık 7. şehridir.

Gaziantep, Antep mutfağıyla ünlüdür. Gaziantep aynı zamanda tarihi mekanları ve müzeleri ile de meşhurdur. Gaziantep Kalesi, Zeugma Mozaik Müzesi, Bakırcılar Çarşısı ve Tahtani Cami şehrin önemli turistik ve tarihi yerlerindendir.

Gaziantep aynı zamanda sanayi ve ticaret merkezi olarak gelişmiş bir şehirdir.
Gaziantep Üniversitesi bu şehirdedir.
İlk etapta üniversiteyi ziyaret ettik.Üniversite içerisinde bir çok cafeler vardı.Bu cafelerden birini tercih ettik,burada simit yedik,çay içtik.Çok erken saatte yola çıktığımızdan biraz atıştırmalık olsun dedik.

Üniversiteden çıktıktan sonra Şehirde Gaziantep şehrinin ünlü restaurantı olan İmam Çağdaş ‘a gittik.
Yemeğe Lahmacun ile başladık ve meşhur küşleme ile devam ettik.Küşleme bildiğiniz kuşbaşı et fakat en yumuşak kısmından yapılıyor.Az da pişirildiği için çok yumuşak bir et yemiş oluyorsunuz.
İmam Çağdaş restoranı 2024 yılında Gault & Millau tarafından ödül almış.

Gault Millau Türkiye, Fransız menşeili bir gastronomi rehberidir. Restoran eleştirmenleri ve yazarları tarafından oluşturulan bu rehber, Türkiye'deki en iyi restoranları ve şefleri değerlendirerek puanlar verir ve önerilerde bulunurmuş.

Ayran istedik ayran bakır bir tasta küçük kepçe ile geldi.Değişik bir sunumdu lezzet gayet başarılı.

İmam Çağdaş Restaurant Şehrin tarihi yerlerin bulunduğu bölgede olduğundan yemek öncesi veya sonrası buradaki güzel mekanları olan hanlar,bakırcılar çarşısı,kalealtını ,pasajlarını gezebilirsiniz.Depremde kalealtı biraz hasar görmüş ama restore ediliyordu.
Hanlar çok güzel,İçerisine girdiğiniz zaman büyük avluya girmiş oluyorsunuz.Burada dinlenebilir közde pişmiş lezzetli bir Türk kahvesi içebilir hediyelik eşya alışverişi yapabilirsiniz..
Bizim çok vaktimiz olmadığı için hana giremedik.
Gaziantep’e gelirseniz 5 günde rahat gezebilirsiniz diye düşünüyorum.

Burası Antep fıstığından zengin bir memleket olduğu için içtiğimiz atom içeceği içerisinde bile bolca bulunmaktadır.
Baklavayı saymıyorum bile herşey bol fıstıklı ve lezzetli.

Kısıtlı bir zaman olduğu için biraz geziden ziyade yemek için gelmişiz gibi oldu.Merak ettiğimiz lezzetler vardı akşamda iyi bir puana sahip ve suflesi ile ünlü bir restaurantta gittik.
Buradaki sufle çok övüldüğü için burayı seçtik.Adı Boğazköy restaurant.Mekan üniversitenin karşısında arka sokağındaydı.Mekan gayet şık ,yemekleri lezzetliydi. Ana yemeği olarak somon balıklı bir menü seçtim.Eşim etli ıspanaklı patates gratenli bir menü seçti.Çok lezzetliydi tavsiye ederim.Humusun sunumuna bayıldım.Yufkadan cipsi kendileri yapmış ,tabağın kenarını bu cipslerle süsleyerek humusu masamıza getirdiler.Çok başarılıydı bence.Yemek sonrası tatlı olarak sufle istedik.Sufle dondurma ile servis edildi.
Suflenin içerisinden çikolata değil Antep fıstığı akıyordu.Gayet başarılı bir lezzet tavsiye ederim.

Günü bu şekilde bitirdik ve kalealtına yakın otelimiz olan İbis oteline gittik.Otel temizdi.
İbis otelini tavsiye ederim.Gece canınız ciğer çekerse otele yakın çok meşhur ciğerciler var.

Is everyone okay? I would like to share with you my trip to Gaziantep over the weekend.
Gaziantep is a city located in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. In terms of population, Gaziantep is the 7th most populous city in Turkey.

Gaziantep is famous for its Antep cuisine. Gaziantep is also famous for its historical places and museums. Gaziantep Castle, Zeugma Mosaic Museum, Coppersmiths' Bazaar and Tahtani Mosque are among the important touristic and historical places of the city.

Gaziantep is also a developed city as an industrial and commercial center.
Gaziantep University is in this city.
We visited the university in the first place. There were many cafes within the university. We chose one of the cafes, ate bagels and drank tea here. Since we set out very early, we decided to have some snacks.

After leaving the university, we went to İmam Çağdaş, the famous restaurant of Gaziantep.
We started the meal with Lahmacun and continued with the famous küşleme. Küşleme is made from cubed meat as you know, but it is made from the softest part. Since it is cooked a little, you eat very soft meat.
İmam Çağdaş restaurant received an award from Gault & Millau in 2024.

Gault Millau Türkiye is a gastronomy guide of French origin. This guide, created by restaurant critics and writers, evaluates the best restaurants and chefs in Turkey, gives scores and makes recommendations.

We asked for ayran and it came in a copper bowl with a small ladle. It was a different presentation and the taste was very successful.

Since Imam Çağdaş Restaurant is in the area where the historical places of the city are located, you can visit the beautiful places here, such as inns, coppersmiths' bazaar, Kalealtı and arcades, before or after your meal. Kalealtı was slightly damaged in the earthquake, but it was being restored.

The inns are very beautiful. When you enter, you enter the large courtyard. Here you can relax, drink a delicious Turkish coffee cooked on embers, and shop for souvenirs.
We couldn't enter the inn because we didn't have much time.
If you come to Gaziantep, I think you can easily visit it in 5 days.

Since this is a country rich in pistachios, they are abundant even in the atomic drink we drink.
Not even counting the baklava, everything is delicious and full of pistachios.

Since we had limited time, it seemed like we came for food rather than sightseeing. There were flavors we were curious about. In the evening, we went to a restaurant that has a good rating and is famous for its soufflé.
We chose this place because the soufflé here was highly praised. Its name is Boğazköy restaurant. The place was in the back street opposite the university. The place was very stylish and the food was delicious. I chose a menu with salmon as the main course. My wife chose a menu with meat, spinach and potato gratin. It was very delicious, I recommend it. I loved the presentation of the hummus. They made the chips themselves from phyllo dough, decorated the edge of the plate with these chips and brought the hummus to our table. I think it was very successful. Soufflé as dessert after the meal. We requested it. Soufflé was served with ice cream.
Pistachios, not chocolate, were flowing through the soufflé. It's a very successful flavor, I recommend it.

We finished the day like this and went to the Ibis hotel, which was close to Kalealtı. The hotel was clean.
I recommend the Ibis hotel. If you are craving liver at night, there are very famous liver restaurants close to the hotel.
You can walk, have a good meal and return to the hotel.
Make sure you won't go hungry here☺️
