Ingredients:
🍪 100 grams of butter
🍪 100 grams of sugar
🍪 100 grams of honey
🍪 2 eggs
🍪 2-2.5 teaspoons of ground ginger
🍪 2-2.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
🍪 2 teaspoons (without top) baking powder
🍪 350-400 grams of flour
Softened butter is rubbed with sugar ▶ add honey, mix ▶ add eggs, mix ▶ add ginger and cinnamon, mix.
In a separate bowl, measure the flour, add the baking powder ▶ mix.
We gradually combine our mixtures, knead the dough. Flour leaves +/- in different ways, so we need to look at the elasticity and stickiness of the dough, but we should not overdo it. We remove the finished dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
The thickness of the dough is up to you. If you like softer cookies - roll out thicker, if more crispy - roll out thinner. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at a temperature of 180-200 degrees. The baking time depends on the thickness of the cookies (for medium thickness: 10-15 minutes).
I use sugar pencils to decorate cookies, because they are the most convenient for me to work with. A more budget option if you cook the glaze yourself.
