I went to Minar-e-Pakistan with my friends to capture the view of that place. It was a great visit to that place with my friends, we enjoyed a lot and explore the view of the place. The place is called Greater Iqbal Park. Mohammad Iqbal or Allama Iqbal, he was our national poet and also the planner of a new nation; Pakistan. This tower was built in between 1960 to 1968, it is a sign of struggling for a new nation and remember us about the struggle of our leaders.
Minar-e-Pakistan:
This tower is called Minar-e-Pakistan, here on 23rd March 1940, Lahore Resolution or Pakistan Resolution was passed by the All India Muslim League party, in which the 2 nation theory was discussed; and decided to create own country for Muslims.
Lake:
- A beautiful is present here on one of the side of the tower. On one point Badshahi Masjid and Sheesh Mahal or Mirror Palace is present.
