The Diary Game III: 23/02/2023 - Taking a tour around Ilorin and working on the steemit platform.

Hi steemians,
I'm delighted to share with you once my diary today. It was indeed a very hectic day because I had no power on my phone to keep me busy. After the seminar, I went for, I returned home while my dear friend went to her working place. It was quite lonely at home because of the low battery I was having.

At about 4:00 pm, @yakspeace came back home and she told me that we should go out and see the town. I wanted to work on the steemit platform at that moment but I also needed to take that tour. So I just plugged my phone into the charger and then we left. I was using a power bank to charge the phone hence I had the phone with me.

We walked to the market and saw many things. She showed me a few places where they sell some of the things I inquired about her. I notice that Ilorin is quite cheaper when compared to where I'm residing I.e in the Akwanga local government area of Nasarawa state Nigeria. This was after confirming the price of a few goods which I normally purchase while in Akwanga.

I took a few pictures of the fruit joint and also the fish spot we went to. Here, we wanted to get one catfish which cost NGN 1,500 which is equivalent to about 8.3 steem at the time of writing this article. Due to the cashless policy, we didn't have cash at hand and the fish seller doesn't accept transfers. Due to this fact, we were unable to purchase the fish.

We went to her customer who sells fruits to get watermelon and pineapple, the young man in question accepts transfer so we bought both fruits for NGN 3,000. We then took a few pictures again and then left for the house since I had other things still pending to do.

On reaching the house, we prepared the fruit and had it washed and sliced. Then we kept it on a clean plate and as we work, we were eating it one after the other. Since I was in charge of reviewing articles for the steem kids and parents community for the day, I decided to start the work immediately. My colleague who was supposed to help out was very busy so I had to do it all alone.

I took a few hours to review all available articles and immediately after I finished, I hurriedly selected the post for booming support as it is in our criteria to always do whenever you are the one reviewing article. More also, when I was done with preparing an article for quality posts for the day, I decided to perform curation activities with my account and the official account for steemkidss.

This also took me some time but I was able to use the time judiciously to vote on all reviewed articles in the community and also review some skipped posts for the previous days. In all, my day was not too pleasant during the day as I was very bored but it became beautiful during the evening die to my sightseeing and working on the steemit platform.
